My first ever character, created in the Prophecies campaign. I joined the game and proceeded to blindly quest, ignoring missions and storyline. From a more quest-oriented MMO background, I assumed this was the way forwards. It took until I was level 7 and hadn't done a single mission for my friend to realise my mistake, and he ran me all around the continent, missioning as we went. I was easily level 20 and geared up by the time I was ascended (this friend of mine was incredibly wealthy - he asked me to hold onto 700k because he didn't have room for it), I was then left alone. Other RL commitments took priority and I sadly forgot all about the game.
Picking up the game again recently, I found my character holding a large amount of gold, in the outpost for my next mission - and figured I might as well carry on the storyline. This character now sits at the mission outpost for the ultimate mission of the Prophecies campaign, and hasn't completed it yet since a disconnection during the Rurik cutscene. Mildly annoyed by that I looked at the other campaign packs..
