Hey[edit]

I'm looking at the code in your userpage right now. Can you define the problem a bit more specifically? It'll help me figure out whats going on in your sig. ^.^ --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 15:31, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

From what i understand, putting that code in the nickname box on the preferences page should work. But it just shows the code when i signed. Should look like the colored text below. sorry for my newbieness EnchantedLucy 15:35, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Hmm....have you checked the "Raw Signatures without automatic link" box? --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 15:38, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

My attempt.[edit]

EnchantedLucy ;) You just had entity codes for all your tags and quotes for some reason. Biscuits User Biscuits sig.png 15:36, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Edit, oh I see you escaped that to show the code. The problem was that you were putting HTML formatting inside the wiki tags. Instead, make the wiki tags the innermost elements, as above. Biscuits User Biscuits sig.png 15:38, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
That code seems fine on its own, but when i put it in the nickname field it still turns to code when i sign <font color="#6600ff" size="2px"><strong>Enchanted</strong/></font><font color="#cc00ff" size="2px"><strong>Lucy</strong></font> 15:46, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Yah, I dont' think you have raw signatures checked. go to My Preferences and the check box for that is right under where you put the code for your sig. --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 15:47, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I get "Invalid raw signature; check HTML tags" when i check it.
I think I see it. In btoh areas, you didnt close off fontcolor. so its coming out <fontcolor instead of <fontcolor>. I think? o.O --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 15:51, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
nope. the problem is </strong/>. the second slash is wrong. - Y0_ich_halt User Y0 ich halt sig.jpg 15:58, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
