Userboxen[edit]

Hi JR. I just added userboxes to the page to show that info. Adding, for example:

produces this:

MissionIcon.png This user is a Protector of Tyria.

You can alter the image and the text to produce a userbox which says whatever you want. To create your own, the simplest is to use this:

Alter the colors (the #AAA and #FFE) to your taste - remember to use a hexadecimal code preceeded by the # sign though - and the image and text of your choice. User Fox.jpg Fox (talk|contribs) 12:59, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

Edit to add: You can find some basic hex codes ( usually a combination of 6 letters and or numbers) for colors here User Fox.jpg Fox (talk|contribs) 13:07, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

If you put User Eu on your user page it will put that userbox on and add you to the category of European users. Also, whenever you leave a comment or question on a talk page, if you type ~~~~ at the end it will sign and date your comments for you. User Fox.jpg Fox (talk|contribs) 13:16, 29 April 2007 (EDT)
It is a small "u" in "Eu" User Fox.jpg Fox (talk|contribs) 13:28, 29 April 2007 (EDT)
If you scout around you'll find some great user pages for inspiration - one of my personal favorites is User:Eloc Jcg - a really great looking page User Fox.jpg Fox (talk|contribs) 13:38, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

Question you asked me[edit]

Ok, I saw your question and I think I know your problem. To get the picture on User:Jimmy R/Characters/Jimmy Riddlethemonk, you would want your box formatting to be...

Which would like like this...

Jimmy Riddlethemonk
File:Jimmy Riddlethemonk.jpg
Affiliation Not specified
Type Human
Profession
Level(s) 20
Campaign Prophecies

You see, what you did, was forgot the image = thing which, without it, trys to make the picture that name of the page instead of what you want it to be.

Tell me if you need any more help--Eloc 19:06, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Inactivity[edit]

Hi, you have been temporarily removed from Guild Wars Wiki:Helpers due to an apparent inactivity on your part. Feel free to re-add your own user name if you plan on becoming active on the wiki again. This is to avoid the possibility of new users not getting a response from inactive users. Thanks. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 17:41, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
