Edit Conflict

*mumbles something about you being too fast*

I was already taking care of it* :) -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 19:00, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

And usually *I've* been the slow poke today...:) --Valshia 19:03, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

ele headgear redirects

They aren't really called Elementalist Storm's Eye etc. They are just called things like Storm's Eye in the game. I can't imagine anyone searching for it with Elementalist at the beginning.. just my 2 cents though. --Lemming64 18:22, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

True, but the "Elementalist <headgear style>" links are near the top of the Wanted Pages page, so quite a few articles link there. I just figure it's better to send it somewhere useful. --Valshia 18:25, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Well it doesn't hurt having them, I would definitely think having both would be preferable. As the version I suggested is what the items are actually named in the game. --Lemming64 18:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Ele headgear

Thanks for helping in updating the ele headgear, and sorry for reverting you :P Just wanted to have those links there, as it makes it easier to see what articles are still missing :) We are planning on adding an article for each headgear, similar to the normal art articles like Elementalist Tyrian armor etc. - anja talk (contribs) 19:02, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Prof icon large

Would you mind editing your character template? I see you are using the prof icon large template, which is marked for deletion, as the functionality has been replaced by the {{x}} type templates (you just type {{x|big}} and it will make the large icon). Thank you! - BeX 11:50, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. --Valshia 17:56, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

User:Valshia/Skill list item

Hey I moved your skill list item to your user space please create stuff like this in your userspace. --Jamie (Talk Page) 18:44, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Oops! My mistake. Wasn't too sure about the inclusion syntax there. --Valshia 18:49, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
np, good luck with your project. it looks interesting. :) --Jamie (Talk Page) 18:49, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Forget about it!

heh, don't worry matey, I have already checked your main space edits to see if you've made any of these mistakes in the past. You aren't the first and you won't be the last. Just know in the future I got your back as far as these kinda edits go, hehe ;) --Jamie (Talk Page) 23:48, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

NPC Quests

I've noticed that you've filled in some of the blanks that I leave on the NPC pages and I want to say thanks. Spliffa 20:28, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Protector of Tyria

I know I'm being a nit'pick but, as you still haven't corrected it, I just want to point out that you have misspelled Tyria in your "Protector of Tyria" title in your characterboxes.
Otherwise I love your characterboxes and the neat code behind them. Its some really nice work you did there :) --Miko 18:12, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

D'oh. Sometimes I'm just blind to my own spelling. Thanks. --Valshia 18:20, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

thank you

your help in removing the page and images i no longer needed is well recieved thanks a lot.Rockweaver 18:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Raw Amber Chunks

Hey Valshia, I've removed the {{copyvio}}-tag from Raw Amber Chunks, since it is not a copyvio. The walkthrough has been written by Gem on GuildWiki and his contributions there are also released under GFDL, and therefor can be used here. Just wanted to let you know. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 13:05, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

I think I made a small mistake. Can't find Gem's statement on releasing stuff under GFDL anywhere anymore... -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 13:07, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Looks like it's ok now. --Valshia 21:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Growing Mountain Eagles?

Are you sure they grow? I know it is a bit hard to tell at the moment, but you marked them as "growing" on the animal companion page. But tomorrow, could you please check with a level 5 mountain eagle if yours really did grow? I have one myself and do not see that it has grown at all, and some other users say "did not grow", too. I would tend to believe that, as the model is based on the canthan phoenix which does not grow either. --Longasc 21:25, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Sure, I was going to double-check anyway, but my eagle seems to have gotten bigger. It's still only level 17 and it's already as big as my ranger. --Valshia 22:06, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Here's a comparison pic of my eagle, left is lvl10-11 I think, right level 17. I'll get a pic of with a wild eagle by tomorrow. --Valshia 22:11, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

There isn't as big a difference as with other pets, but it's there. The level 5 wild eagle is about shoulder-height, while my now level 20 eagle is as tall as me. --Valshia 17:24, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
That is good news! Maybe we can take the "EAGLE ARGUMENT" now to convince ANet/Support that Canthan pets should grow, too! It is extremely racist that chinese pets are not allowed to grow, after all. ;) --Longasc 10:07, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Armor pictures

I just want to say a big THANK YOU for your awesome armor pictures. :) - anja talk 18:19, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Aww, you're welcome. --Valshia 18:58, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Uniques

Hey Valshia, just wanted to let you know that I'm working on an updated version of {{weapon infobox}} which categorizes items automatically. I don't want to discourage you in updating the unique's, just wanted to let you know that eventually it'll be done automatically. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 20:15, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm looking to fill in missing items on the List of Eye of the North unique items page and getting the pages categorized will be a big help in finding what's missing. It'd be nice to have the work offloaded to the infobox though.
Oh, I notice it catagorizes everything under Campaign unique items whether it's a unique or not. --Valshia 20:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Indeed, thanks for pointing that out to me! *goes about fixing it* -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 20:44, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

armor pics.

Just wanted to say that your armor pictures are absolutely gorgeous!--User Zemmy Signature.png Zemmy 05:04, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Skill Trainers

Hello. Just wanted to mention about my edit on the Mystic Regeneration page. I didn't realise that it wasn't available there until it is unlocked, but shouldn't that be mentioned on the wiki page or is there a reason that it isn't? Thanks. bsoltan 00:18, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

It isn't mentioned on that specific page because it applies to all skills and skill trainers in general. Every skill trainer has their own set of skills they can teach you before before you have them unlocked. After you learn/unlock the skill from them, then your other characters can learn it from any of the skill trainers in the appropriate campaign. Because of this the wiki only lists the first trainer(s) you can learn them from unlocked. --Valshia 19:39, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
That's fair enough, thanks for explaining. Is that explanation somewhere on the Wiki? I had a quick look on the Skills page but couldn't see anything. bsoltan 02:45, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
It's briefly mention at the top on the Skill Trainer page as well as the skill formating guideline --Valshia 23:58, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

AtC

Noticed you active on the wiki. May I presume no evidence is forthcoming, so we can move on here? I dislike leaving an article semipermanently in such a state. Backsword 03:48, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Of course, leaving the disputed tag on that article is silly when the disputed part follows the convention of the other EotN primary quest articles. Particularly when you made no objection or comment on the formatting talk page on the issue despite having ample opprotunity to do so. By all means remove the tag if you are willing to go along with the consensus reached there.
However, I do object to your characterization. I provided evidence in that thread your willingness to accept or address it as evidence notwithstanding, whether you agreed with conclusions reached or not. The dispute seems to rest in one side considering Evidence A > Evidence B and the other Evidence B > Evidence A. --Valshia 05:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I know you claimed to have evidence, what I was asking for was screenshots of them. I'm sure your's well intended, but we need have stadards that are not abusable by trolls and such. Backsword 05:16, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Screenshots will not be provided. Not that I can't take the screenshots. I have certainly provided screenshots in discussions when the need arised. And not that I have lax standards of evidence; my standards are quite high.
I can screenshots of myself entering Grothmar without AtC in my log, run around the zone without it appearing, make my way to a helmet with a green icon floating over it, interact with that helmet, click yes, be transported to the quest area and have AtC show up in my log at that point. These are relatively non-controversial points that most players that have done, and especially repeated, AtC are mostly aware of. And unless you actually dispute the sequence of events I outlined above, then screenshots are of absolutely no use because there's no dispute over the evidence, but over conclusions. Demanding screenshots in such a situation can be seen as obtuse. --Valshia 23:53, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
