Viggo is a warrior in the service of Duke Barradin. He serves the Duke faithfully, and would gladly die to protect him. However, he carries the burden of doubting the Duke's intentions in trying to hold Piken Square. He fears that the Vanguard is trying to hold such a tenuous position only because the Duke's daughter, Lady Althea, has gone missing.
