Life Infusion Issue -- 20:16, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- name doesn't fit functionality (Balthazar's Rage + heal)
- heal is generally wasted
- Suggestion
- make it set foes on fire for 1..3..3 seconds when it ends
OR
- do 15...51...60 fire damage when it ends
Mordax Praetorian's Issue Mordax Praetorian 01:48, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- Generally made redundant by Mystic Vigor, name would suggest something much more offensive in nature
- Suggestion
- Balthazar's Rage 5e, 2s, 30s, Enchantment Spell, 20s, deals 1..10..14 Holy damage each second to each adjacent foe
- You may also wish to change the animation on it to have its initial animation every second
New Suggestion
- Issue
- Same as above, and as mentioned on the talk page.
- Suggestion
- Reading the afore mentioned talk page, I noticed what someone said about the beta version of this skill and it gave me an idea for a similar(ish) new functionality you could have.
- Balthazar's Rage. 10 1 20 .
- Enchantment Spell. For 7...13...15 seconds, whenever you score a critical hit against a foe, that foe begins Burning for 1...3...3 seconds. When Balthazar's Rage ends, all adjacent foes take 1...4...5 Fire damage for each second it has been in effect.
- As this skill is in the derv's primary attribute, it can't be abused by sins with high crit strikes. I did worry that dervs with daggers (like Lyssa dervs) could keep a target burning thanks to double strikes, but given that with only 12 dagger mastery at most the crit chance and the double strike chance aren't all that high, you wouldn't be able to keep someone permanently buring like you would with Mark of Rodgort and a fire weapon (a ~20% crit chance would mean you would have to hit 5 times in 3 seconds on average to keep someone burning, which even with a 33% IAS and a 24% double strike chance I don't think you can do it, and even if you did the durations would sometimes overlap so there would be gaps). Anyway, it would be quite cool imo.
- cool idea!--89.129.147.175 10:27, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

- Issue
- An offensive name that heals?
- Suggestion
- Balthazar's Rage 5e, 1s, 25s, Enchantment Spell, 10s, deals 1..3..5 Holy damage each second to each adjacent foe
- A small tick of damage that would not greatly boost damage but still could create interesting effects. Have it trigger after weapon damage.

Comments & Suggestions Here, Please
- Issue
- I like some of the suggestions above, but they remind me too much of Balthazar's Aura which was given high cost, cast and recharge for a reason. Giving an easier to use counterpart to a melee class sort of reintroduces that problem. However, the change to Hundred Blades mixed with Balthazar's Aura would make this pretty useful for a frontliner.
- Suggestion
- Enchantment Spell. (10 seconds) Deals 15...51...60 holy damage to adjacent foes. Whenever you hit with a scythe attack, nearby foes take 0...8...10 holy damage.
