- "This area has been declared a health hazard. A horde of Afflicted has taken up residence in the area, and the emperor calls upon all brave Canthans to battle the foul beasts.
- "Do you seek further instruction?"
- What exactly must I do?
- "It is very simple. You must destroy as many Afflicted as you can. Keep in mind that this plague is extremely contagious; it is only a matter of time before it overcomes you. However, the more monsters you slay before that happens, the greater your glory and service to the emperor."
- Do you have any hints for me?
- "1. Slay the Afflicted bosses to receive a morale boost.
- 2. Obtain morale boosts to increase your time.
- 3. Return to rooms you have already cleared to find additional foes."
