Feedback:User/Mora/Titles

From Guild Wars Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search

Suggestion:

  • Change titles to make them more friendly to all players.

Reason:

  • Champion
    • Allow progression on the title for every guild and still have an incentive for high-end guilds to stay in the high-end range.
  • Defender of Ascalon
    • Allow access to the title to non-Prophecies characters.
  • Gamer
    • Free Gamer title from being festival event exclusive, while still giving a reason to still participate during each event.
    • The arenas rarely have enough people in each to even start a battle, if any people at all.

Player vs. Player

Guild versus Guild

  • Champion title:
    • Multiply each rank for the title by 4, multiply each account's current points by 5.
    • Award 1...4 point for any victory in GvG, based on current guild ladder ranking.

    • Post-Searing Ascalon bonus, 1 point per kill, 5 for bosses.
    • Possibly rewards for Ascalon quests and missions.

Gamer
  • Adjust rewards for each arena event, lowering each.
  • Add an effect like Party Time! during festivals to increase the rewards (Gamer points) from the beginning of each event until the end, setting them apart from the year round availability.
  • Change the low level, abandoned arenas into festival-like arenas.

Ascalon / Shing Jea / Kamadan Arenas

  • Merge all 3 of the arenas, allowing people entering from Ascalon to fight people from Kamadan.
  • Remove level 10 maximum.
  • Change to a Costume Brawl, using the skills, attributes, weapon, and armor of the henchmen (Orion, Mai, Sogolon, etc.) from each connected town.
    • Add mesmer and necromancer henchmen for possible builds.
      • Balance each henchmen's build, making them equal (a monk entering from Ascalon is the same as a monk from Shing Jea).
      • Possibly rotate through each henchman, changing throughout the day (Orion for a few hours, then Kisai, then Herta), similar to the Codex Arena.
