Bulk Salvage and Materials[edit]
Add two options to the current windows for Dye, Scroll, Rare Material & Material Traders:
- Bulk sales: allows player to request a quote by specifying the number of items (default 1) and sell that number.
- Bulk purchase: as above, for buying items.
If desired, the prices could be adjusted depending on player demand, e.g. if Nicholas the Traveler is requesting Glass, then purchasing 250 Dust might be 10% more expensive than a week earlier.
Add new tabs to the materials trading windows:
- Bulk salvage for common materials: allows player to salvage all the items in a stack at once, at a cost of 5/item (slightly higher cost than Salvage Kits)
- Bulk expert salvage for rare materials (only at Rare Mat Trader): as above, performing bulk salvage, at a cost of 20/item (same cost as Superior Salvage Kits)
Background[edit]
Currently, there are still a few circumstances in which players cannot perform a single action to work with large quantities of items:
- Purchasing materials, rare or common
- Purchasing dyes or scrolls.
- Salvaging large numbers of trophies.
- Opening special items (Trick or Treat Bags, GotT, etc.) (not intended to be addressed by this suggestion)
The game makes allowances at other times for bulk: exchanging Zaishen Coins, selling materials at a Merchant, crafting rare materials from common ones. There's no particular joy in encouraging carpal tunnel syndrome for the situations above.
