Honestly, I think they'll allow pve skills on heroes the same day the allow us to take 7 hero teams.--Pyron Sy 04:04, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
I would like both =P--Unendingfear File:User Unendingfear Crane eats peanut.jpg 12:21, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Why just 1 PvE skill? Let them get 3 just like players, or wait, let them get a full skillbar of PvE skills and be able to use special signets of capture with which they can cap monster skills! Have them get the special attack speed increase and armor increase pets already got too, how fun would that be? I say.... not Koda Kumi User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg talk 17:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
I think that one PvE skill would be balanced for heroes, otherwise we would be able to make IMBAGONs and such.--Unendingfear File:User Unendingfear Crane eats peanut.jpg 12:53, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Heroes are already powerful enough. :3 /shows disapproval Nectarines 13:02, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Thats what I predict everyone would use shall your suggestion become a reality. :O Nectarines 19:27 24 September 2009
There is NO difference between a party of heroes with PvE skills and a party of real people. Except if our heroes had PvE skills then parties of real people wouldn't force everyone in the party to run their retarded gimmick builds so they can speed clear. For those of us who want to go through the game and do the elite areas and actually ENJOY them and not have to rely solely on some self-proclaimed 'leet' player to run through the areas with his SF build, which he then charges us for, we need to have heroes that can compete with real people. The way the PvE communtiy works these days is you can party up with them ONLY IF YOU RUN A SPECIFIC GIMMICK BUILD MEANT FOR SPEED CLEARS. So, us PvE players are left with 3 UNDESIRABLE options when we want to do an elite area or do anything on HM: 1- party up with real people and run THEIR builds or pay them; 2- attempt to do the elite areas with our heroes (which are decidedly underpowered compared to real people), but be able to use our own builds; or 3- not attempt the elite areas. So, in all FAIRNESS, which of these should be fixed?
1- To nerf SF or any other speed clearing build is unfair, as it is those players' prerogative to be able to utilize those skills and do elite areas their own way, but to be forced to run a build we don't want to run SIMPLY TO JOIN THEM takes away OUR prerogative to play our own way. If I don't want to speed clear, then I don't want to speed clear, ENOUGH SAID. 3- This is not fair either. The elite areas are what offer the most excitement and enjoyment to players such as myself who have completed everything in the game and are looking for a challenge. 2- To allow PvE skill access to our heroes is BY FAR the best and most fair option. People who want to speed clear still get to speed clear, people who want to do the elite areas get to, AND they get to do it their own way with a party of something OTHER than an underpowered group of heroes which is going to fail. By giving our heroes access to PvE skills, we can form a party which would be EXACTLY THE SAME as a party of real people, except for the profession/build discrimination. Besides, a party of heroes with PvE skills is still not as good as a party of people since you would have to micromanage each hero and flag them, rather than rely on the intelligence of a real person.
I mean, for crying out loud, if I want to run DoA using Cry Way, I will party up with a Cry Way party, they are a dime a dozen! If I want a party with an Imbagon, I will take a real one. What is the difference between taking a real Imbagon or a hero Imbagon?! THERE ISN'T ANY!!--MushaUser Musha Sigc.pngTalk 02:27, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

The state of the game is bad enough w/o offline mode. I'll pass, thank you. Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 02:36, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Nice post Musha! =D Nice reasons, well thought out. =D But yes, PvE skills for now (or going to be) PvE heroes. =)--Unendingfear File:User Unendingfear Crane eats peanut.jpg 03:09, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Also, KJ, offline mode would be fun for all those long trips in the car =D--Unendingfear File:User Unendingfear Crane eats peanut.jpg 03:15, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Learn from mistakes. Specifically Feedback talk:User/Tashiro/Heroes with PvE Skills and Feedback talk:User/Musha/PvE Skills for Heroes. If someone else makes something like this, I will rage on the talk page so hard that A.net's building will shake. Titani Uth Ertan 17:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Tempting. Tempting. Actually, I still think giving them one PvE skill appropriate to their faction might be better. Gwen gets one Vanguard Skill. Vekk gets one Asuran skill, etc. That might be nice. Or, gods forbid, Jora gets a Norn Skill, and could perhaps turn into the bear! -- Tashiro 14:15, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Give Vekk asuran scan
he will get a big complex
and wand Koss to death. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 14:35, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
