Help the guards to destroy Waeng, the leader of the gang that has been hindering the relocation of refugees.

- Locate Waeng in the sewers and eliminate him.
- See Guardsman Tang for your reward

Walkthrough[edit]
This quest is very straightforward. Starting from the entrance to The Undercity from Wajjun Bazaar, head right and follow the arrow on your radar. The Am Fah patrols between you and Waeng are small, around 4-6 members per group, and are easily dispatched. Eliminating Waeng himself is the only thing required by the quest.

Guardsman Tang
- "These are hard times...hard times, indeed. This damnable plague has spread to all corners of the empire, and we guards have been tasked with relocating refugees from the plagued areas. As if that were not enough to keep us busy, there has been a drastic rise in criminal activity. From what I have been able to gather, a thief named Waeng and his rat-tag group of thugs are responsible for much of the illicit activity. If you will assist us in dispatching Waeng, I will inform the emperor of your deeds."
Accept: "Waeng and his thieves will trouble you no more."
Decline: "I'm busy right now."
Ask: "An informant has told us that Waeng is hiding in the sewers. You should hurry before he goes further underground."
Reward dialogue[edit]

- "I cannot tell you what a relief it is to know that Waeng and his gang are off the streets. Now my men can continue focusing on more important matters, like seeing to these refugees."
Notes[edit]
- This quest can easily be completed at the same time as Capturing the Orrian Tome and It Ends Here, as they're all in the same general area of The Undercity.
- Waeng is an Assassin boss who gives players an early opportunity to capture Flashing Blades
