Giant Needle Spiders are spiders found in Ascalon (pre-Searing). They always drop out of trees to ambush players, often in clusters of 2 or 3.

They can sometimes be found near a stationary Giant Tree Spider.

It is revealed during the quest The Orchard that they are attracted to the scent of apples, leading some of them to invade Mary Malone's Apple orchard.

Notes

• The spiders found in the south-west part of Wizard's Folly are hostile to skales and Large Aloe Seeds in Wizard's Folly, but not in Regent Valley.
