The Cleansed Masters Hall guild is a small Polish guild allied with the Luxons. At present we don't play as much as we used to. Most of the guild members spend a lot of time studying or working while others are bored with the game.
Politics
In the past we used to have meetings every 2 weeks, but now due to the decrease in members' activity we have changed that.
Interests
We fancy various kinds of both PvE and PvP activities. Cleansed Masters Hall is mostly a PvE guild, but among our members there are experienced PvP players as well. In terms of PvE the players generally enjoy Hard Mode, Elite missions, title farming and dungeons. As far as PvP is concerned, our primary focus is on Alliance Battles and Random Arenas.
The statute of [Smok]
- the primary goal of our guild is to create a friendly, intimate atmosphere, thus unjustifiable swearing or any forms of verbal abuse will deserve severe punishment;
- our members and new recruits are required to be 20+, as the average age of our guildmates is 20+;
- we demand that every person should take part in all aspects of our guildlife: forum, guild chat, TS, Xfire, PvE & PvP activities;
- our attention will never be focused solely on one aspect of the game: PvP or PvE. Good fun and enjoyment of the time spent together are of most significance for us, whether we lose or win;
- as we aim to integrate with our members the maximum number of guidmates is 40;
- now our guild is inactive, so we mostly play together at weekends,
Recruitment
Our recruitment is currently open. We recruit only friendly 20+ regardless of their age or knowledge about the game.
History
Chapter I : Fusion Doomed to Failure |
---|
Odpierzona Hala Majstrów [OHM] (01.07-06.07)
Our history started when Smoczek Bagus recruited Kassandra Mortis to his guild: [OHM]. Odpierzona Hala Majstrów was a small guild which contained only about 10 people. Under Smoczek’s charismatic leadership and Kassandra’s invaluable assistance in recruitment the guild seemed to thrive, especially when Haldir Aros, Anszelia Norax, Mor Edhel, Ashura Mazah, Nihil Novi, Van Priest, Gopher the Great, Yossa Rian, Lord Stoki, Aiisha Pl, Tatsu Asano, Mizukage Soul, Sergio Leonelli and Czerwony Wilk formed the essential core of the guild. In order to increase the number of guild members and thus provide better opportunities for finding a party, Smoczek decided on a fusion of [OHM] and another Polish guild. This fusion was the first step to our inevitable destruction, as the old [OHM] members couldn’t find any common ground with the newcomers. Due to numerous misunderstandings and disagreements we resolved to depart from [OHM] and follow Smoczek Bagus to his newly-formed guild [Smok]. |
Chapter II: From Dictatorship to Democracy |
---|
Cleansed Masters Hall [Smok] (06.07-09.07)
The desirable goal of this guild was to gather a small group of people who were willing to complete DoA quests repeatedly. Due to uncontrollable expansion of guild members the guild had to face the unavoidable change in its basic principles. Mounting social unrest among guild members originated in both bitter disappointment with dictatorship and the guild’s controversial policy towards its members. Consequently, when the guild was in a state of decay, a meeting of the whole guild was announced for the first time in our history. During that gathering the establishment of a novel guild based on democratic principles was proclaimed. |
Chapter III: Keep Smiling: The Ultimate Friendship |
---|
Keep Smiling [xD] (09.07-06.08)
The most successful and prosperous of our previous guilds, yet still favoring PvE despite various attempts at establishing a HA team. Finally, recruitment of a few PvP players resulted in rapid emergence of a professional HA formation. Although the source of conflicts within the guild still remains a debatable issue, the fact is that the easy-going and friendly atmosphere pervading the guild vanished irrevocably. On 07.06.08 the guild decided to separate from the HA team and each of the sides formed their own guild. We found a safe haven in our previously abandoned guild [Smok]. |
Chapter IV: The Revival and Demise of [Smok] |
---|
Cleansed Masters Hall [Smok] (06.08-15.09.08)
The main goal of this guild is simply to play together and enjoy various forms of guild activities just for fun. We don’t want to follow the craze for title farming or fierce rivalry between guilds, guild members or any other players. A few innovations were introduced in order to enhance and enrich our guild life, such as GvG fights or communication via Xfire. Taking into consideration our previous experiences, the fall of this guild seems also unavoidable, but the question is: when? Never mind, let us simply savor the moment of this idyllic peace and quiet..... Alas, during this period of heavenly pace and tranquility we have become desperately tired with omnipresent monotony and invariability of our everyday guildlife. One attempt to freshen up the guild was made (recruitment), but it was doomed to failure as the source of our demise is not the deficiency of active members. On the contrary, we suffered from surplus members who did not have any aim to pursue as GW became a second nature to them, thus extremely boring. It was neither fierce disagreement or inactivity of the players that killed [Smok], but the lack of frequent updates that would make the game interesting and worth playing again. Fortunately, we resolved to stick together and persist in searching for another MMORPG to tide us over, and so far we have established a guild in Lineage II. As our future is unpredictable maybe one day we decide on awakening the dragon... Who knows? |
Chapter V: ...and The Dragon Awakens. |
---|
Cleansed Masters Hall [Smok] (15.09.08-Present)
Bitterly disappointed by the instability of Lineage II private servers, our members decided on their grudging comeback to Guild Wars. As we all have adopted an extremely laid-back attitude towards this game, the guild structure has been divided into two parts: officers (active or honorable members) and members (inactive or new members). Although the guild has more than 60 members, only about 15 might be regarded as active players. We have been enjoying our company for such a lengthy period of time that this need for establishing genuine equality arose spontaneously. The inactive members are not to be excluded from the guild for they are intent on playing Guild Wars 2 with us. The factual guild activity takes place via Xfire, which has proved to be our most powerful means of communication. Owing to our Xfire activity, our members have immensely engrossed themselves in playing other games like Eve, WoW or Left4Dead. While trying out new games or participating in weekly guild expeditions to Guild Wars we impatiently wait till any image of Guild Wars 2 eventually emerges from the abyss... |
