Hiljaiset Tappajat is a small guild, established in the August of 2006. Its original founder was Silent Ohmu and on the 22nd of January 2007, leadership was passed onto Qwido Sunrider. On the 1st of January 2008 Qwido happily retired and designated Solleks Mori to her follower. Apart from being a close group of friends from all around the world, they also have a good relationship with their alliances, and every now and then, you may find them doing various quests, missions and events as a group. HiT is particuarly fond of Alliance Battles and Title Hunting. They have also created their own custom fun things to do, such as Friday Night Gambling and Photo Shoots. Two "Greatest HiTs" Soundtracks have been published and distributed to the members of the guild since its creation in 2006. Among other things the guild also includes cartographers, wisdom-seekers, protectors, an intercontinental romance, survivors and a drunkard. Due to the fact that almost everyone in the guild has started their tertiary studies, not much can be said about the guilds current activity levels. However, during holidays you will notice activity pick up.
Recruitment
An invitation to the guild is best earned by playing with its members, for Hiljaiset Tappajat does not actively recruit all passers-by. Level or skills are unimportant; HiT is always open to new players still learning as well as experienced gamers who still enjoy playing. HiT is not a huge, town-owning guild with millions of faction or members, and there is no pressure upon members to donate or be online every day. While the most active people may log in sometimes several times a day, those having a real life instead are never frowned upon. Since the guild consists of players from all over the world, understandable English is a requirement. Other than that, politeness towards other players and a great sense of humour are the most important ingredients for a successful a HiTman/woman.
Friendly whispers to leader/officers will get a response.
Guild Trivia
- Hiljaiset Tappajat means Silent Killers, which is a poor Finnish translation of a rather poor Chuck Norris movie.
- Our resident drunkard, Solleks Mori, has a policy that she never drinks on the job, be it a simple quest or a nerve racking mission.
- Officer Rael Harris used only standard salvage kits in the hopes of getting rare materials right up until he reached Kaineng Center.
- Qwido's second character completed Factions obtaining the title Indomitable Survivor, noticing only afterwards that she had forgotten to buy max armour.
- If you ever see officer Athelos The Blue, do not call his straw effigy a doll. It's an ACTION FIGURE!
- Qwido still hasn't forgiven the Champion of Balthazar for coming out of nowhere in her early days and asking her for money. He then took her to the Fissure of Woe where she promptly died. Worst of all, she loathes his sneakiness, as he managed to convince her to give him money once more, and then sent her off to die again.
- During Alliance Battles, Rael once never managed to get his armour on in time and entered the battle without pants. Regardless, the Kurzicks still won.
- Qwido and Rael spent a holiday together in June 2007. She flew all across the world so that they may be together. They had a wonderful time in Cape Town, South Africa. She returned in January 2008, and currently lives happily with the wammo of her dreams.
