Angelica sat in Prince Mehtu the Wise’s throne room. “It is up to you take it or leave it.” he said.

"In other words, see it your way or my guild is banned from your reign? Forever?" Angelica's eyes narrowed.

The prince nodded, "You did what no other could before and it seems like we need you again."

"I had help you know, and you said the new infestation in Dasha Vestibule is many times worst!," Angelica argued.

"Of course," the Prince smiled. "I have Margrid the Sly and a crack troop of heroes from all over Elona to assist you. Trust me when I say everything will be fine."

... "Fine? This is fine?" Angelica barked to Margrid in the middle of Dasha Vestibule. "Half the team was dead even before the got up the stars in the first level."

The djinn's set up curses that slowly drained away the party’s health and energy. Margrid had already spent all her energy fighting a Roaring Ether.

"Grenth!" Angelica cursed as the the monk went down leaving only Angelica and Margrid. "We are getting out of here, come with me," Angelica shouted. "Fall Back!" A surge speed charged though the two and a few seconds of protection surrounded them as they fled to a the safety of the main hall. Both lay exhausted and near dead at in the bowls of Dasha Vestibule.

"Never truest a smiling bureaucrat," Angelica wheezed. Margrid shirked as a shadow passed in front of them. They were to weak to fight if a djinn had followed them. This could be it. But the shdow took the form of a man, and paused for a moment before speaking. "Well Kitten I thought I would never say you are not beautiful, but you really look like you really need help," he laughed.

"Zero?," Angelica looked up in relief. "The one and only," he smiled broadly.

"How did you find us?" she asked now seeing Zero with his band of necro's.

“ I heard the rumor that Dasha Vestibule was infected again, and went to talk to Prince Mehtu. The rest is history."

"We have to get out of here Zero, it is bad. Much worst then when we did this before with Aurrora."

"Relax Kitten, I know this hole better then even the priests that used to run this place. Stick with me and we can take care of it," he assured her.

As they healed up and got ready Zero took the lead. The trick was moving fast. The djinn's curse would way heavy on the group more as they went. It took a toll on even the strongest warriors so they had to move at a furious pace.

Angelica was right though it was much worst, and they lost their first necro at the stairs, and the second by a Roaring Ether in second level. Margrid looked pale from the cure that seeped thought the walls. She sat down, "I am sorry, go with out me," she said looking so weak and weary.

They were now too deep to turn back, the stress from the curses would do them in on the long trek back. They needed to find the Divine Djinn and slay it or would die in the beautiful tomb.

Angelica used every trick she knew to keep up her protections, and drive her holy spear into the hearts of the denizens. Zero blazed the way. Keeping up the pace as he mowing down the enemy with his bow like they were gains of wheat being harvested. As they rounded the bend they were overrun and the final necro went down. A Roaring Ether pounced toward Angelica but was tackled mid air by Zero.

As it's claws ripped at his chest and horrid roar sent waves of damage. He called out weakly," Run Kitten, run!"

Angelica knew what she had to do for them to survive. She left Zero with the Roaring Ether and shouted "Fall Back," to flee the room. Her only chance was to get to the Divine Djinn and slay it.

The curse was devastating, and Angelica was only a shell of her battle glory but she knew what she had to do. Hiding around corners she slipped past a few groups, and speed burst past others. She was saving her strength for the final battle.

After a half dozen rooms and halls she finally made it to her prey. But it was fresh. A horrid Djinn stood in front of her, and dripped with an evil essence. Angelica shouted to set up a protection as her vampire spear struck in to the creature. But it was not enough, as it emitted waves of negative energy, sending Angelica reeling as the long battle took it's toll on her. Pouring her entire soul she decided to fight till the end, but that was not far away.

Angelica battled as exhaustion took its toll, she had noting lest. Just as the fight left her the creature cripple over. The watching as attack after attack came from behind driving the creature down until it withered under the ferocious barrage. As it died the curse was lifted and the draining stopped!

Looking back Angelica saw Zero standing in the doorway of a secret passage with his bow. He was banged up and his armor shredded from the Roaring Ether. Angelica ran to him, and he collapsed in her arms as they sunk to the floor. "How is it that you saved me?" she softly asked with her hand brushing away the hair from his face. "I told you Kitten, I know this place better then even the priests did. That includes the secret passages." He smiled weakly, "I took care of that Roaring Ether and came to save my Angel." "Your sweet," Angelica whispered. "Of course I will split the reward with you." "I don't want the reward," Zero said staring into her soft blue eyes. "Well I have to thank you somehow for saving my life," she breathed with her full soft lips. A moment passed, then closing her eyes she pressed her pouty lips to his...
