Introduction

Greetings from The Cursed Templars. We had been open since July 2005 and still alive. On June 10, 2008 will be mark of third birthday of TCT and mark of new dawn. The only requirement to join us is just be active, cooperation, and just have some fun. We are an old guild and have plenty of experience with guild wars. If you have any questions just ask us in game or at our website.

I want to thank everyone that join the TCT that help and influence our guild to what everyone see the best of it. Our guild will be asleep until news of guild wars 2.

Chapter 1

A long time ago.... There was a guild. It was a benevolent guild. Its members were happy, if a little poor. Then one day, a plague struck. It spread through the people like wildfire. There was chaos on the streets. Then the worst thing that could happen did; Gavin, the guild leader, caught the plague. Hope was nearly lost.

Without their leader, the guild was slowly dying. They could do little without him. But there was still some hope left. A small group of people hadn't gotten the plague yet. In hopes of finding a better life, they left the guild in search of new territory. They came across a small island. It was not exactly the most pleasant island and Martha Stewart would probably have a few words to say about it, but atleast it didn't have the plague. They named it "The Isle of the Dead" after the hundreds of skulls there.

But the plague still lingered with them. It was a constant reminder of their past. This was their burden. They chose a new name to call themselves, "The Cursed Templars", because they were forever cursed with the plague.

Chapter 2

• flashback shows an island in the middle of the ocean, the sky is dark, a storm is coming, it is cold out, the ocean waves crash against the rocks.*

...Many years have past, and many of the guild members have left their new home to make a new life for themselves and perhaps seek greater glories. One member was left to lead the remaining few. His name was Tsang, he had many others, but this is what everyone chose to call him. He was a good leader, better than many, and he helped the new recruits through many a peril. Unfortunately, their name was true to it's call, and the curse has made many to turn away. As the guild slowly shrunk, the small number of members who did not want to give up tried all they could, until only but a dozen was left. Some new templars joined the ranks, and have risen through them. One of them was destined to succeed the current leader....

• seasons change, and images of warriors, rangers, and other guildmates appear and slowly fade. The island changes into a volcanic, lava filled place. *

...New alliances were forged, but still the Templars did not see success. Several of the leader's closest friends and advisers wished that they could pursuit their destiny in another land. They still would keep in touch and return if there was need for them. Finally, Tsang saw that he no longer had the power to make sure that the guild lived on and was brought to glory. He named a successor, Myrrdan, who is now the leader, however, he still holds and honored place as the new leader's main advisor...

• an image of Myrrdan slowly fades in...and the background changes from the Volcanic one, to that of a petrified forest deep in the Kurzick lands*

...The guild is seeing a new beginning, as old members are let go, and new ones are recruited. Who knows what will happen, for only time can tell. Perhaps one day....the Hall of heroes will be theirs.....
