The Rally for Mursaat Rights in Guild Wars 2, also known as Mursaat Rally 2, was an in-game event that took place in Maguuma Stade International Districts, on Saturday April 12th 2008 at 5PM GMT/12PM EST. Its purpose was to try and persuade ArenaNet to give the Mursaat a more important role in Guild Wars 2. The event was organized by Loremaster Kalidri, Loremaster Gmr Leon, Barinthus, the current leader of the Blade And Rose, along with several of its members
The Intents behind this rally.[edit]
The intents for the second Mursaat Rally were those listed below:
- More Mursaat! - Give Mursaat better roles as NPC Characters.
- The Veiled War - More lore regarding Mursaat Activity in Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. Alongside this, more lore regarding the mysterious Seers and their involvement with the Mursaat.
- Mursaat Faction in Guild Wars 2! - Allow players to have more interaction with the Mursaat rather than just playing a role of monsters to be mindlessly killed.
Event Planning[edit]
- 5PM BST (UTC+1)/12PM EDT (UTC-4) - Event start. People gather and the Rally begins.
- 6PM BST (UTC+1)/1PM EDT (UTC-4) - Official Speech by the Loremaster, Gmr Leon.
Event Status[edit]
The Mursaat Rally 2 was planned to take place in International Districts 1 & 2 of Maguuma Stade. However, due to many players being away from their computers, it was organized into the American District 1 for the active supporters.
After finally organizing those in American District 1, there was another speech given by Leon Wyvern and several of the Divisionary Leaders. Once the speech was over, Daniel Frozenwind held the costume contest and gave out the prizes. Once over, Leon and the Divisionary Leaders called upon those present at the Mursaat Rally to invade Lion's Arch and dethrone the Royal Family. Once that had been done, they rallied once more to invade Kamadan and that is where the Mursaat Rally ended.

- Elex Aio- Organized the Necromancer Formation and donated a few Yuletide Tonics.
- The Queen, Mad Queen Malafide-Also Organised the Necromancer Formation.
- Skeletor Il- Organised the Warrior Formation, treated his warriors to some sugary treats and helped out the costume contest.
- Karuro Silvershot-Helped organize the Warrior Division.
- The Shadow Reapr-Helped organize the Assassin and Warrior Divisions.
- Joel Arath-Helped organize Warrior Division.
- Daniel Frozenwind-Helped organize the Elementalist Division, formed conga lines,handed out many gifts and helped hold a costume contest and activities.
- Ebony Darksword-Helped organize the Ranger Division.
- Tanith Mindbender-Helped organize the Mesmer Division.
- Blade and Rose, the guild of the first rally's organizer (Quintus Antonious) donated 100 plat for the contest and assisted in the judging.
- Kuroli of Light-For trying to keep the Mursaat Rally spirit in International District 2 while Leon and the others were organizing everyone in International District 1.

Costume Contest[edit]
- There was a costume contest for the best looking Mursaat and best looking White Mantle.
