Notes[edit]

  • There are no traps, nor any ranger skills, that apply cracked armor.
    • Therefore, consider using Trapper's Focus to selectively lay Piercing Trap next to a foe that has just received cracked armor, either from a secondary profession skill or a fellow party member.
  • Damage is dealt in two packets. First the trap is triggered and deals unconditional damage, then the second packet is dealt only to enemies who have cracked armor. If an enemy is in a Well of Ruin when the trap is triggered, the initial damage will inflict cracked armor, causing the bonus damage to trigger as well.
