If one reactivates Battle Rage before it ends, would one lose all adrenaline? - - Arkhar 17:37, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Yes. A stance ends when another is used...therefore it ends itself. --Torak321 08:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
I like this skill. Raptaz 13:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
When it's about to run out, i just pop lions comfort, gives me alot of that adren back, then i can just put the stance back on and keep bashin ppl. 76.31.177.104 17:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

could work in PvP its like a better version of rush

Methinks, its reason for being elite is a self-managed infinite adrenaline-gain increasement. It doesn't make much sense to increase the movement speed (if enraged in a battle you might want to tear everything apart in a small time and not run fast to the next).Noctarch 23:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

But with increased movement speed it is easier to catch kiting foes. Else you would not gain adrenaline and this skill would be useless. I love this skill. I use that with some sword attacks and try to finish them off with Final Thrust right before battle rage ends. This works great against low armor foes. --Serina 14:46, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
I didn't say, it weren't useful. It is simply contradictory to what one'd think when he heard Battle Rage. And, by the way, Flare is good against low armor targets as well. Noctarch 21:27, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
lol Me/E fast cast flare with mark of rod!!!! hmmmm new build idea. 195.26.57.193 15:37, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
flare + rodgort is kinda the oldest idea of all. and one of the worst (next to spamming only flare), just to note. - Y0_ich_halt User Y0 ich halt sig.jpg 16:09, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
flare spam is useless and everybody knows that but dealing some good combos with mass adrenalin from battle rage is not easy to counter. And by the way: Flare does 60-70 dmg a final thrust does over 100 damage --Serina 21:48, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Blackout, Empathy+Enfeeble, Ancestor's Visage, Sympathetic Visage, Ineptitude, Soothing Images, Soothing, Wild Blow, Disarm, Wild Strike, Auspicious Parry, Mind Freeze, Icy Shackles... yea, it's really hard to stop adrenaline based meleers. Noctarch 12:31, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I know that this kind of build ARE easy to counter. I experience that almost every day. What i wanted to say is that IF you can freely attack with your attack skills sometimes you hurt seriously your opponent. Sure, battle rage has this great disadvantage that you lose all your adrenaline but if there is only one time no one who disturbs you --> OUCH! ^^ --Serina 22:58, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Caretaker Palmor[edit]

Can't cap this off him, as soon as he's killed he turns straight into an NPC, no time to cap the elite. Lt Death 09:21, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Awsome[edit]

sniff* sniff* ahh just look at it... the lil skill is growing up and makeing a name for itself... i remember when it was just a baby... oh my, i promised myself i woulnd cry.... 70.6.52.198 04:25, 15 August 2008 (UTC) Auron Lives!

August 7th update[edit]

No more adrenaline loss when you turn it off, bigger selection of skills to choose from (You can take Lion's comfort now as a heal, adren isn't doubled from it though). Big buff to user-friendliness and flexibilitiy to be sure. --Ckal Ktak 20:04, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

But loss of Bull's Strike. Bah. Saphatorael 10:09, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Not really, use bull strike with battle rage filled or at 3 strikes, and activate it after bull's strike lands. It's not like it empties adren anymore. --217.204.190.162 13:50, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
So? An imbagon is like virtually unstoppable now. You can spam SY and GftE.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.99.246.228 (talk).

I love this elite, i use it with an axe :)

Try using with symbolic strike and the rest of your bar with useful signets :D
Flail still produces 33-38% more damage than Battle Rage. --Falconeye 02:24, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
If your target doesn't move, which it will eventually.--75.94.77.148 23:47, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Flail is IAS, this is your elite Rush for cancel stance, be it with Frenzy or Flail 84.251.199.244 15:54, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Why use another stance for IAS? if your using this skill your probs gunna have all adrenaline attacks (and lions comfort) so plenty of energy un touched. 8 points in channeling with Weapon of Aggression and this = Primal Rage (with reversed IAS/IMS speeds) without the double damage, AND double adren, just use Weapon of Aggression before battle rage when you've got enough adren. a few sword or axe skills, and you got an uber pressure build against casters in pvp. or maybe Sundering Weapon with body blow for deep wound and cracked armour, if your into using conditions. I've tried this with axe. disember, agonizing and d chop, spamming the interrupts, and body blow or executioners for a bit of damage. so much fun. or maybe Sundering Weapon with body blow for deep wound and cracked armor, if your into using conditions. alhou i find the 1 sec casting of sundering weapon is enough for a caster to run away for long enough to avoid it =[ Alekan Vimrick 09:18, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Time Duration Change[edit]

66.99.246.228, please do not double revert. If there is a problem after 1 revert please use discussion page.- TheRave User TheRave sig.jpg 16:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Was there really a time change? No notes on the updates pages. Guildwiki still shows it at 15 sec duration. Let me be the first to say this sucks if they already nerfed the buff. --192.88.94.254 18:43, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm looking at it right now, and there's a green number on the duration. Check the game, not GuildWiki, if you're going to be updating this wiki. --Chaiyo Kaldor חיו 18:47, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
I also confirm that the range is accurate.- TheRave User TheRave sig.jpg 18:50, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

33% Increased attack speed, 33% lowered movement speed, double adrenaline, that would make for a fine spear warrior :D 62.51.183.226 08:48, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Personally I think skills should be most effective for the class and the weapons they use and then have other classes weapons taken into account after the fact. Designing a warrior skill for a spear build is just asking for it. Weaponmaster 22:24, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Does not stack with FGJ![edit]

I have just tested this on isle of the nameless activating For Great Justice! before battle rage, i looked to see how fast it would charge up "Save yourselves!" from having 0 adrenaline and it took 4 hits to charge, SY being an 8 adrenaline shout, changed notes to include this. Shogun 19:11, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Based on Effect stacking, it shouldn't stack. --JonTheMon 13:57, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Ah, my bad, im going to put the note back up though with a link to effect stacking so the people like me know why. Shogun 04:16, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Doesn't work with spears?[edit]

Well it didn't seem as if I got any extra adrenaline, still took 4 hits to power a 4 adrenaline skill... or is it me who got the whole idea about adrenaline wrong? - Ander01 13:48, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

no it works with spears. but you don't gain adrenaline if it's stray, dodged, missed or blocked. try against a dummy in the hero isles or whatever for reassurance.Alekan Vimrick 09:13, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

related skill[edit]

berserker stance maybe? same speed, both stance, both more adren, both end under a similar condition 68.202.136.112 21:59, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

IAS vs IMS and berserker stance ends on any skill. -- euphoracle | talk 22:56, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Use of the Skill[edit]

The primary use of this skill is simular to that of Rush to cancel Frenzy. However, in this since, not only are you getting the IMS like Rush, but you are also getting the double adrenaline gain as well; which allows you to get back to your attack skills more quickly in about 3-4 hit as opposed to 7-8 hits. Usually a portion of the Axe bar for this Elite looks like this...

Body Blow.jpgDismember.jpgAgonizing Chop.jpgFrenzy.jpgBattle Rage.jpg

You are able to go into Frenzy to quickly use the above skills, and then go back into Battle Rage for a quick build up for another skill attack series. The damage and Deep Wound ability is still present while incompassing the ability to get back to those damaging skills faster then other adrenaline skill based builds. - SabreWolf 10:26, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Another common use of this skill is with Weapon of Aggression to achieve a pre-nerf Primal Rage like skill.199.17.55.136 17:32, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Instead of Frenzy, you could use "Never Rampage Alone" with a pet for 20-25 secs with +25% attack speed. Thus you can maintain battle rage together with an IAS.
Never Rampage Alone is actually a good solution to the IAS problem. Normally, NRA would be way too energy intense for a warrior primary, but given that BR is adrenaline based, and ends on non-adrenal skills, you would just bring a load of adrenal attacks. The only other energy based skill you would need to bring would be Comfort Animal, so there would be no real struggle for energy. FleshAndFaith 09:02, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm gonna sound very noobish here, but do signets end BR as well? I know they don't use adrenaline, but you never know, Anet could just mean that energy skills end it 24.107.107.6 20:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
It does what it says, ends on any non-adrenal skill Chi Shan 20:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Wouldn't it make sense...[edit]

..If you attacked 33% faster too? If I was enraged, I would be flailing my weapon around as fast as I can. Think about it...... Scar Of The Lotus 16:34, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Yeah because Primal Rage wasn't OP enough. --BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 04:12, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Is that...[edit]

A Fiery Gladius that mister battle rage is holding? Scar Of The Lotus 02:20, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Doubtful, Seeing as this is a core skill and the fiery Gladius wasn't introduced until nightfall. --BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 04:13, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
It looks more like a shiny Runic Blade and there is some... forgot the word, it's physics where something is hot and the air shimmers around it... I mean there ARE flames in the back Sable The Master of Bei Shun 06:18, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
