Event headgear should go here too eventually. - BeX iawtc 10:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I agree --Zathic 15:52, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Festival Hats/Masks are generally without armor ratings. This page should only be dedicated to real armor pieces/sets that are common to all professions. Lundfoci 00:14, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
This article is an overview of the different armor art types shared across professions. The fact that certain armor pieces don't have any armor rating is not a valid reason not to include them here. They are still armor and can still be used while fighting (Spirit Bond). - BeX iawtc 01:00, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Is it really...[edit]

Is it really common armor? Can I acquire it with one peep and then let another peep equip it? Or is it customized once you buy it like other armor? Nalath 17:30, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Common armor is armor that any profession can use. Other indexes are named <Profession> armor. - BeX iawtc 17:32, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
It's still customized like any other armor. - anja talk 17:37, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Name change suggestion[edit]

I would like to suggest that this page be renamed Common Helms or Common Headgear since all the items on it are indeed headgear.--Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 11:07, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

*pokes the Gauntlets/gloves section* - anja talk 11:09, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Meh.. yeah, I just saw that:P --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 11:26, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Same Wintersday 2007 pieces..[edit]

Is it really necessary to stick the Wintersday 2007 head pieces in both Wintersday and Nightfall category? I understand that Wintersday 2006 is under both due to having 4 different headpieces.. but.. I don't know.. ♥LadyTemp♥ 01:08, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

We could sort them by event to eleminate the redundancy. -- Gordon Ecker 03:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Wintersday is a subheading of Prophecies. - BeX iawtc 05:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
I say we sort them by event, i would do it my self right now but the code is beond my wiki know how well at least it is this late. 75.172.47.109 08:22, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Done. -- Gordon Ecker 09:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
much better thank you.75.172.47.109 18:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

"Item's attribute +1 (Stacking)" bonus[edit]

Quote: All headgear has the "Item's attribute +1 (Stacking)" bonus. This bonus matches the attribute of any attribute rune applied to the headgear.

So if you dont rune it no bonus??? 81.68.104.213 20:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

That's correct. - Bex User BeXoR sig.gif 01:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

dragon gauntlets[edit]

how can i get these gloves? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:209.174.135.66 (talk).

From Gobrech Stonefoot, see the Dragon Gauntlets article. -- Gordon Ecker 05:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

missed headgear[edit]

I think they should give us chances to get the event headgear if we missed those years. Perhaps Im wrong and you can still randomly obtain them on their respective holidays but thus far that has not been the case. I would really like to see them available again, perhaps some special quests from the hatmakers during the holiday events. Nay the One and Only 23:51, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

The only repeated headgear(so far) is the Lion mask. personn5User Personn5 sig.jpg 23:52, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Costumes![edit]

We need the costume pics in here stat! Zachariah Zuan. 23:35, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

feel free to do it your self. personally its not armor so i dont think it belongs here and i also think the hats should be moved to a costumes section.- User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 03:28, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Just to reiterate this is an armor page. Costumes already have a page. I agree they do not belong here. User DrogoBoffin sig icon.png Drogo Boffin 03:29, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Other professions?[edit]

Runes are limited to the armor of the profession to which they apply, so you can't add runes of your secondary profession to your armor because it is not the right armor. So, can you add runes of your secondary profession to common headgear, since it is not restricted to any profession? --Gammastar 20:00, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

No. It'll be classed as a warrior, ranger, etc. headpiece when you craft it.--Escape.jpgOneshot 20:02, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

customization[edit]

can you buy these on one char, put themin thebank, then wear them on another char? 99.165.194.175 16:31, 13 April 2010 (UTC) <-Sheon

No. They're customized for one character.--User Oneshot O.JPGneshot 16:33, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Small bug/issue[edit]

Rather trivial detail but still - any festival hats created BEFORE the December 17 2009 update were not switched over costume headpieces. Might be worth noting. Yume 17:52, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

That same thing happened to me, my charr hat doesn't count as a costume headpiece. I'll add it Mantis Touch (large).jpg Sheon talk to meh 00:54, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

One Piece[edit]

Glacial/Destroyer/Chaos idea maybe based on Aokiji/Akainu/Kizaru from One Piece ? 78.35.157.7 01:20, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
