wonder what the new pets will be?

We have a new area with new end-game greenies, and you wonder about minis? Oo --Mage Montu User MageMontu sig.png 19:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Let's wonder about everything ^^ _.:-=-:._ 83.119.36.78 19:37, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Spirit Bond[edit]

I didn't think that they would ever bother fixing it, lol.  AshleyS (talkcontribs) 19:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

It took a year... maybe more --User rayd sig.pngRayd 19:41, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Whoa, a year? Seriously? Cause A Little Mayhem 22:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Wasn't this skill ninja-ed shortly after release because of some farming build? BlazeRick 23:29, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
It's changed, but not "ninja-ed". It's an officially announced change in update note. Lightblade 23:39, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Priest of Balthazar[edit]

He's now bugged so that he continuously offers heroes to PvP characters and prevents them from unlocking skills. The QQ'ing in RA is hilarious...--Glenforder 19:44, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Lol go to Team arena or Hero Battles and see if it works. Halogod35 19:46, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
It was bugged everywhere

Bugged[edit]

No end game green when you finish it... it sends you back to hell's precipice. 71.50.50.244 19:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

happened to me too Xe 19:50, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Lol so many bugs. :< Halogod35 19:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
So the best thing in the update doesn't work? I'm never normally critical of Anet but that kinda sucks... Lyra ValoUser Lyra Valo Sig.jpg 19:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Give them about 15 mins and i bet you they have it fixed. -- Salome User salome sig.png 20:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Strong programming. Lord of all tyria 20:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Why didn't they playtest and do that extra 15 mins of programming after that and before release and before 100s of people wasted their time? Lyra ValoUser Lyra Valo Sig.jpg 20:22, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
It's actually pretty funny seeing Ursan teams forming up, only to see them cursing Anet 30 mins later --Arduinna talk 20:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm using Price of Failure on Anet! --Talos of Flanders 20:44, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

so ursan got bugged and was in pvp for a bit? LOL

Um, rofl? do you even know what they are talking about? --Hawk SkeerAssassin Symbol(Talk) 21:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Anonymous, l2read, no one said it was usable in pvp. BlazeRick 21:24, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
We're never going to hear the end of that April Fool's "update" in increasingly stupid and various forms, are we? --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 21:26, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, and also. Testing on live servers is pretty much not done anymore I think. After what happened with the stuff in DoA. BlazeRick 21:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Beg to differ...The servers are live and testing is being done...by the users! -- Inspired to ____ 21:43, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
That's what I'm saying, they most likely are not testing themselves on live servers anymore. I don't know, I don't work there. But they certainly would be more cautious with it I presume. BlazeRick 23:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I think the new endgame area is incredibly stupid. I went with a group, and someone ZONED!!! After the second time I did the mission that day since the first was bugged. What was Anet thinking making the area zonable? At least it wont be as hard to find groups to do the last few missions in prophecies anymore. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:76.189.126.88 (talk).

Why blame Anet, and not that guy/gal who was zoning? Every endgame area is zonable, be it by talking to an NPC or by walking out of it. BlazeRick 10:59, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Because they didn't properly test it first. And trust me, my whole group cussed out the person that zoned for a bit. And no, the other endgame areas are not able to be zoned by one person causing the whole group to leave. Thankfully, Anet fixed it after realizing this mistake.

Not a bug[edit]

http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/5682/15608012sr5.jpg Stop reverting. 71.98.84.249 20:53, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I'll add this into the notes to clear up the confusion. (222.153.1.130 20:57, 24 April 2008 (UTC))
Who is Leitha? 24.0.66.172 21:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Leitha's name is actually Linsey Murdock. UserDrago-sig.gif Drago 21:39, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok, tyvm. :) 24.0.66.172 21:57, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Dark Pact[edit]

why the fuck? it wasn't even that useful even in ha --Blood Anthem User Blood Anthem Sig.jpg 20:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

If it wasn't immediately useful to you in HA, why care? Seems pointless to me. UserDrago-sig.gif Drago 21:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Do you HA? They spike every fucking 2 seconds for 1 energy it's fucking stupid. — Skakid 21:20, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Yea...then mass heal area. Lightblade 23:40, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Lame as it was, I'm not sure the correct response was to nerf Dark Pact back into complete uselessness. That said, the entire line needs to be reworked. Badly. --SoraMitsukai 04:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
And better so, as after being unuseful at least it can't be exploited. May the current balance be primary, getting bad skills into play secondary. 91.152.182.99 04:20, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
But why did they immediately reduce the damage back from 70 to 48? Why not something between those values like 60 instead, to try getting something balanced between weak and broken values. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 12:55, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
i agree, it's pretty retarded to change back when they knew the skill was worthless... rise it to like 58 and it's... still worthless but not useful in ha, damn dark pact spikes sucked anyway, like iv spikes... --Blood Anthem User Blood Anthem Sig.jpg 17:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

new end game armor as well?[edit]

so with this update dose it include end game armor?75.172.43.176 22:22, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

of course not -- Salome User salome sig.png 22:26, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
talk about epic Disappointment.75.172.43.176 08:37, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Why? they never said they were going to add any and the weapon skins they did add rock imho! -- Salome User salome sig.png 08:54, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

For characters who already completed the mission[edit]

  • wishes it'd just spawn in my inventory -_-* I already did this mission on 4 characters prior to the update, and I don't feel like going through another boring, long, prophecies mission, lol at the people who got the slap in the face that the update wasn't complete. 65.34.193.183 23:04, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree. I have 11 toon who already did it, and it's a bummer to do it all over again so many times. Foo 23:57, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I suppose it keeps people playing... Cause A Little Mayhem 01:45, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
PSh, I did the mission twice to get two items. It's really not that difficult. Just make sure to be with allies, guildies, or Ezmode Ursanway.- VanguardUser-VanguardAvatar.PNG 01:50, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
they should just put an npc at the opening of the end game place that lets you go in if you have beaten the game.75.172.43.176 02:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
If you have only done the mission to complete it on your own characters, you are lucky, if you don't want to do it again, don't, no one is forcing you to get the free green.--Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 02:42, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
I've been wanting this since the release of Factions. I'm very happy Sanderevers 06:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Green or gold?[edit]

Are the new weapons green, or gold? The wiki notes on the page says the gold weapons from the new collector don't upgrade properly, but I thought all end-game items were green? Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 12:09, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

There is a green set like endgame factions/nightfall/GWEN. But there is also a crafter standing around that crafts inscribable gold versions so you can mod them how you wish.- VanguardUser-VanguardAvatar.PNG 12:12, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Can you display them in the hall of monuments? That would be sweet :D --Kyle van der Meer 14:56, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Now, THAt, I don't know. I don't use the HoM.- VanguardUser-VanguardAvatar.PNG 14:59, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Nah, you can't. Which is a shame..--User Spider osiris Flag.pngSpider 16:45, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok, didn't think it would work. I haven't had a chance to play yet, so I thought I'd ask. --Kyle van der Meer 16:58, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you, Anet![edit]

I actually already ventured to doubt that this would become introduced, but now it's there, with all those new weapons, that's great! Now it's uniform as every campaign/expansion has an according reward trophy. :D —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:04, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
