Alliance Battles faction rewards

For some reason, I'm gaining the boosted faction rewards even as the losing team now... I wasn't paying much attention, but I could have sworn I was getting around 500, not 1500 faction per loss just a few days ago. Was this updated? -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 23:39, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Watchlist

Can I just check, does the new dynamic link thingy used on the Game Updates page mean it will no longer appear in Recent Changes or my Watchlist after game updates? No big issue I guess as there is always the link to the most recent update on the main page, but I must admit I rarely look at more than my watchlist. --Winters Blessing 10:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, basically, since the Game updates page will not need to be edited for new items to appear. It's a shame for us watchlisters, but as you say the link should be easy to find anyway, as we also have "Guild Wars news" in the left column. :) - anja 10:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I noticed the same thing myself. (I only look at my watchlist and maybe RC and didn't notice the game update.) Perhaps poke can inject some link into the watchlist for us lame-asses? --  (CoRrRan / talk) 12:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

DPL navbox error

:/ The time parser extension is stupid.. 31st January 2008 - 2 months = 31st November 2007 - as there is no 31st November, it will display 1st December 2007 instead..

Loading Screen Bug???

Yea. I just got the new update for today. I loaded up my character, finished the loading. Then i would normally do a quest or talk to my guild mates. However, the loading screen is still there. im not lying. I can pull up my guild chat (knowingly), i can see the mouse clicker go yellow and stuff. THIS IS WEIRD!!!!! Is this a bug or is ANet pulling the joke?! Sorry.

Sounds like it loaded, but the loading screen graphic didn't disappear yet. I would suggest A.) waiting it out for a bit, might be a matter of time; B.) reboot your computer, perhaps your graphics card or RAM is going slow and getting in the way.

It's a bug I would say; generally stuff like that is related to your graphics card or computer in general. If the problem doesn't go away after a while, I would contact Support and see what they have to say; they're generally more experienced with system problems and other such things, and should be able to figure it all out. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:53, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Those support pages never help much. I'd suggest minimizing, then maximizing the guild wars window. Things like this happen when i use texmod, but it isn't anything major...

January 17th Update

Found a glitch: With the new hero skill update hero's wont relay spirits again until the first spirit drops it just sits there recharged with a check mark on it until the first spirit dies regardless if you set up the binding keys or if you just click the skill.

They still work as they did last year but you won't get a rat miniature from them ;) That's probably the main reason for the own name that you still can get a minipet out of them. poke | talk 13:38, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

I had noticed this previously on Cynn and had a screen shot (was deleted at some point). Her "underwear" and her dress were two separate entities whereas all the other henchman had a transparent texture behind their clothes. -elviondale (tahlk) 22:36, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
