Talk:Impossible Odds
Undocumented Effects?[edit]
Well, i just could see too good how five minutes ago the deep wound i caused with reaper's sweep was sent back to me and some henchies...and i think i can remember that happened after he used this skill @.@ 87.177.241.34 17:40, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Ugh...[edit]
This one skill is pretty much the source of any of Shiro's difficulty. However, someone with a lightning weapon along with Glimmering Mark will shut him down quite nicely. Oh, and bring some form of Stance Removal to kick him out of Battle Scars, since the life stealing becomes absolutely lethal when mixed with the AOE doublestrikes. - Stance removal + Insidious Parasite + Empathy + Spiteful Spirit = One very dead Shiro. Paddymew 17:20, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Hex Removal[edit]
An IP altered the article to say Impossible Odds removes all hexes... can anyone verify... I doubt this change MrPaladin talk 12:26, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- It removes more than one, I don't know if it removes them all or not. --Jette 12:35, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

skill?[edit]
seems silly to me to say that a monster skill is not a skill... and under skill types it says skill. =/ Materia user 19:14, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Who said that? Didn't see that in the article.--99.230.145.201 22:56, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Have I read this right?[edit]
So, I cast Spoil Victor on him just after he uses this. IO hits "nearby" foes (foes of Shiro, that is) as well as his main target. Does that mean that he gets SV'ed for each of four hits on the main target of his attack, or for four hits 'each for all of the people affected by IO'ed attacks? (If the latter, that would be a *lot* of health lost.) And I suppose it's the same for Pain Inverter: he does nearby-range AoE damage (in effect), many times per "attack", and takes many lots of up-to-80, right? Cynique 08:58, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- He'll cause a ton of damage to himself through SV by hitting everyone multiple times, yes... until he reaches the same health as his target. That's when Insidious Parasite, Spiteful Spirit, Empathy and Pain Inverter come in.Ifm2181 10:33, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
