Talk:Life Attunement
if you steal life with this on, do you gain more hp? ~ 68.93.143.59 21:29, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Life Steal does not count as "when healed". Haven't tested it out ingame, but theoretically, you shouldn't gain more health. br12 ~ 21:31, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
lulz monks cud use this on 55 builds in RA for even more griefing 0.o --Destructos Maximus 17:32, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Using this on 55 builds is a terrible idea. Orison of Healing with even low points in Healing Prayers is already enough to fully heal a 55 build. Why would you need 50% more healing when it is capped off and energy degeneration? --Eyekwah 09:41, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- He's saying that 55s are already a pain and if they used it on the melees then they'd deal 30% less dmg. It's funny how you think you're smart. ~ 71.109.233.135 04:09, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
You moron he's talking about using it on your teammates.
Does this affect healing from Spirit Bond? Briareus 13:14, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Foul Feast[edit]
Will this work with Foul Feast? It doesn't steal, it heals u based on conditions transferred to you. – Barinthus 21:57, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- I don't believe so. With Foul Feast you gain health, not healed for health. Secksy 21:30, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Life Attunement @12 Prot =43% more health
- Foul Feast @12 Soul reaping gives a "gain" of 36
- 36 /100=0.36 x 43=15.48 |36+15 =51+2 energy. No prot bond was 36+2, with PB was 51+2.Curiosity tested on isle of nameless removing burning speed from vekk BlackBlood 21:54, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Holy Wrath/ Retribution[edit]
Does this skill affect the damage that these produce? or does it change depending on the caster? --Elijah 21:16, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Hmm[edit]
Does this reduce damage on weapons like flurry, or does it reduce attack skills also?? →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 21:41, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's so you can have a party with 3 monks and 5 IW mesmers and epic bond them all until you're invincible. Raine - talk 04:39, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Lmao, that sucks. →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 17:34, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Check out the edit notes; I titled the post before this one "Sarcasm". =P Raine - talk 19:57, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- But seriously, is it attack skills or just base damage? →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 02:28, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
- It most likely doesn't affect additional damage from attack skills or passive skills like Strength of Honor. Theoretically, of course. ;D <>Sparky, the Tainted 03:32, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Very Incorrect.[edit]
The notes on this skill say it doesn't affect indirect healing. It does. It even affects the divine favor of itself when casted on an ally. I use this skill every day in FA so i think i'm right. (bonder) :) ~ 71.109.233.135 04:07, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Unique[edit]
I believe this is the only skill that can Affect other players, which will probably cause the other player to moan. Hubbard 19:02, 9 July 2009 (UTC) ,
- I was just thinking that myself: This skill is rather unique in that it is the only skill that will directly have a negative effect on an ally (nature rituals aside, as they affect everyone). --Gah_ 01:04, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, not really, since Vengeance and Death Pact Signet basically influence other player's efficiency 81.59.142.45 18:38, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well, Vengeance has a positive impact, except for the death after enchantment ends thing. Death Pact Signet doesn't do anything negative. That's not the point that people were getting at here. --Kyoshi (Talk) 18:42, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yo dawg, I herd ya like trollin' so I put Iron Mist on yo bar so... --J0ttem™ 04:05, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Echo+Arcane Echo+Iron mist, lol. THAT would be annoying. Life Attunement isn't all that bad, the damage penalty isn't huge (although it is significant), and should do nothing on caster classes. Depends on if it's needed i 'spose. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by K2K (talk) at 13:33, 01 April 2010 (UTC).

Spells?[edit]
Does this reduce the amount of damage, persay, a nuker can do? Does the damage reduction apply to spells?
- tested using Life Attunement>Aura of Restoration>Flame Burst, it affected the health gain from Aura of restoration, but not the damage from flame burst, so looks great for a nuker :) 188.222.77.162 18:56, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Tests about Damage reduction[edit]
Just leaving my research notes here so the next person who's curious doesn't have to farm a 2-3 damage suntouched scythe or something equally exciting:
- Neither Energy Surge nor Unnatural Signet nor Brawling Headbutt have their damage reduced, i.e. no spells, signets or "skill"s are affected.
- Using Wild Blow for critical hits (=constant damage), the damage dealt is indeed reduced by 30%.
- Using Wild Blow while under the effects of Strength of Honor only reduces the basedamage by 30%, not the SoH bonus.
- Death Blossom's AoE is not reduced.
- The +70 damage from Symbolic Strike are not reduced.
Hence I must deduce that only your weapon's base damage is reduced. Tub 20:24, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- "The +70 damage from Symbolic Strike are not reduced." That's similar to Flurry, as I previously reported. --Silver Edge 20:42, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
