Talk:Lunatic Court Finery
This goes here[edit]
I'll just leave this here: http://www.guildwiki.de/gwiki/images/1/10/K%C3%BCrbiskopf-Kost%C3%BCm.png -Curin Derwin 03:16, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Female Version = Ugly?[edit]
Does anyone else find that the female version of this costume is sorta.... ugly? I mean the front is okay but the back is TERRIBLE imo. Why couldnt it be just a regular dress like bottem almost? antil Swift 01:55, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- It reminds me of the dress Candysmith Marley wears, sort of. Honestly, I'm not a fan of massive asses. It almost looks like you could like, hitch a ride on it or something. Live in it. It's just so big, and there's like a cushion there for some reason. Ryuu -Matters. ♦ 01:58, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's not your butt, it's a bustle. Although I agree that it would've been better left out. Arshay Duskbrow 03:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- With all the Halloween candy people have been eating, maybe that's back there to act as a "muffler" ? Or Adult diapers perhaps? ;) Alderin 06:17, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- I guess that the designer thought it looked good. Maybe if we complain enough they'll change it! (this is a joke, please do not actually do this) Reez 06:35, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent idea, but they aren't known for making a lot of changes to keep their customers happy, even when common sense and good business practices would dictate they should. Oh well, I guess a few people like it, much better than the majority. ;) Alderin 12:20, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Do the majority really hate it? People usually only voice their opinions over stuff they feel strongly about, so you're only seeing the opinions of the handful who dislike it rather than the (presumably) many who don't care enough to share their opinions with others. :) Personally, I think the bustle is a nice touch -- it's pretty unfashionable by today's standards, sure, but it really adds to the Victorian feel of the costume. I guess it's an aquired taste! --Wormwood 22:33, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not a big fan of the big butt either, and largely because of this, I think the female version of the Lich costume looks alot better than the female version of this one. 69.182.192.223 00:05, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Male Dervish Dye Bug[edit]
I can't dye this on my male dervish. 122.104.175.131 02:58, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- The headpiece for this particular costume is never dyaeble, if you would read the article, you'd see that it can accept dye, but it has no effect.. Furthermore, some colors look very similar for the bodypiece. It isn't a bug, but they probably didn't intend pieces that didn't dye to accept dyes. Ryuu -Matters. ♦ 03:02, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- I can't dye any of it on my derv. On my paragon I was able to dye all of it (including the head piece, which only the stem changes colour). 122.104.175.131 03:16, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Upon checking, I can confirm your bug regarding male dervishes. A note has been posted. It'll likely be fixed within awhile. However, I can assure you that the stem of the helm does not change color. It merely looks as if it changes in contrast with the background of the dye-preview window. Headless finery+Court Helm[edit]
I think it would be helpful to note that while wearing the Lunatic Court Headless Finery, the fire from the Lunatic Court Helm is still visable. Whether this effect was intended or not I do not know. --Shadow of Dispair 07:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Also, the flame animation seems to disapear during long times in an explorable area. I think it might be caused by player death, although its easily fixable by unequiping the helm and reequiping it. The animation does not seem to disapear while in an outpost or guildhall. --Shadow of Dispair 07:38, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's the same bug that causes the animation on some weapons to disappear. -- Wyn talk 08:24, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- If I'm not mistaken, most in game animations stop after -X- hours (last I checked, it was 5)of course, this could be an entirely different thing.. especially because I don't think you're spending 5 hours in one area Reez 06:41, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Flames stay (sometimes?) in Costume Brawl(Outpost)[edit]
Not sure if a bug or intended, funny, though. The flames remain (or can be enabled by hiding/showing) even when you're in costume in the Outpost. Didn't try actual battle yet, but I doubt they stay.--Cyberman 10:50, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Update: works with other disguises too. Just had a mysterious tonic and set my head afire. :-D --Cyberman 12:48, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Headless/Aspect pictures[edit]
Can someone post pictures of the Headless version (and the aspect version for the Lich costume)? I don't have access to a PC that can play GW atm. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 18:08, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Here you are. Hope that suffices. Don't know how long the files will stay, though. (Surely a few months).--Cyberman 19:20, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Cool, thank you! If you want you can just upload them to the wiki and add them to the page. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 03:44, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'll set some better copies myself and do that now, since I was too lazy to do so before. Ryuu -Matters. ♦ 21:08, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Very probable trivia[edit]
The headless version possibly inspired by the Irish myth creature - dullahan. RazoR39999 21:50, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Headpiece with other "Costumes"[edit]
Do we want to add to the Bug note that they decided to leave the bug when they saw how much people enjoyed it? http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/new-costumes-tonics-t10456111.html?p=5281843#post5281843 Darcy 17:20, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- While it may be something they aren't going to fix, it's still technically a bug. Personally though, I like having just flames instead of a head. --Curse You(talk|contribs) 02:56, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- That DOES add a little something to the whole headless outfit for me. If it was intended that way, then yes a bug note would not be appropriate. However, since it WAS a bug, even one they decided to leave in, noting it as bug should be done and/or left as a bug note. 69.182.192.223 05:25, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Frozen Flame[edit]
After being online for ~6 hours I noticed the flame effect stopped animating 97.101.98.205 21:24, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's a global GW bug, it affects other animations as well. 85.19.140.9 13:34, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Worth noting?[edit]
I don't know if this is worth noting or not, but on the flaming pumpkin crown, the inside of the pumpkin appears to be hollow with some sort of candlestick type thing sticking up where the neck should be. Does this sort of tie into the person being "headless?" On the pumpkin crowns from previous Halloweens, you can't see inside of it and thus don't know if it's supposed to be hollow or not. 97.115.219.123 20:31, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Tonics[edit]
Is it worth noting that when a tonic ends (and you had equiped the headpeice while under the tonics effects) that you end up with a non-flaming pumpkin head? --MorazaDarkheart 17:38, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
