Why Delete?[edit]

what does "Probably G2" mean? All info on this page looks good.

I don't see a deletion tag on it.. Or in the history.. Are you sure this is the right page? - anja talk 16:49, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
(edit) Oh, it was the skill point template. Fixed now. :) - anja talk 16:50, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Deldrimor Rank works too...[edit]

If you are a Gutsy Delver or higher, you can buy these from Alcus Nailbiter in the Central Transfer Chamber, just like you can buy them from the other factions.

Not Stackable[edit]

Perfect salvage kits are NOT stackable.--Wyn's Talk page Wynthyst 00:47, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I got mine from the Salvage Kit. --Kakarot Talk 01:00, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

No longer EotN specific?[edit]

Since this can now be obtained from the Zaishen silver rewards clerk, should the perfect salvage kit be considered only part of the EotN game?Darksoul 21:57, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Kinda late, but I agree that this should be a core item... Sentry007 User Sentry007 sig.png 19:33, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Salvage of unidentified items[edit]

The current statement in the article says, Unlike the other salvage kits, Perfect Salvage Kits cannot salvage crafting materials or unidentified items. It's both awkwardly phrased and not quite correct, as ordinary kits cannot salvage unidentifieds either .

Here are two alternative statements:

  1. Perfect Salvage Kits cannot salvage crafting materials or unidentified items.
  2. Perfect Salvage Kits cannot salvage unidentified items and, unlike the other kits, you cannot use them to produce materials.

I prefer the first, as I think comparisons to the other kits belong in the notes. If there are no objections or amendments, I'll make the change in a few days.   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 08:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

The problem with the phrase is that it's refering to salvage kits as "the family of items" and not as "the item". In any case, the current wording can still be misleading, so i think your first proposed statement could work better in that regard.--Fighterdoken 09:06, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Cost per use?[edit]

Why do we need cost per use? You can't buy it per use and it just confuses the article. Can someone who is wiki savy just change it to the total cost of mats and gold? 64.223.97.107 00:46, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

That info is in the table in the Acquisition section of the article. The Notes section gives the cost per use. --Rainith 00:51, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
And all the salvage kits (that can be bought) give the cost per use in the notes section. It is just to give you and idea as to which is the best buy if you are trying to find a trade off for cost vs. bag space. --Rainith 00:54, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
I've seen people selling part used kits. IMO it's a good idea because it allows people to share the cost and only pay for the uses they need (not that it's crazy-expensive to begin with). Having the cost per use here is a good way to allow them to make sure they're paying (or charging) a fair price. 109.145.208.77 12:36, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
