I wish I could cast this on my enemies 07:13, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Erm, why? If they're dead, you don't need to worry about disabling their skills... Barkingllama

Rez them at your location,25% health and their unable to do shit. FREE DP!Oni 18:53, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

there is definitely something unique to bringing a monster back to life and killing it again. Roflmaomgz 18:47, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Signet of Capture[edit]

Isn't that usually placed only under elite skills?68.78.65.84 22:56, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Also useful for skills that can be captured before you get them as rewards, or before you can buy them.--Fighterdoken 23:05, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Glyph of Essence[edit]

I just tested the interaction with Glyph of Essence. It does teleport the resurrected person to the spot of the glyph's casting instead of your location.--Pyron Sy 23:14, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

I was quite surprised when I discovered this, first I thought someone else must have been rezzing, but then it turned out, that Glyph of Essence combined with Rebirth rocks. 138.246.7.228 16:11, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

lol im a 55 monk and had 25% dp then i got rezzed by rebirth but it rezzed me w/ 0 health every time, it was retarded

take off a piece of armor to keep yourself from dying by rebirth rez. Nooby 55 stuff. 24.26.253.105

Could this be because the rez checks for where you used the skill that caused you to lose all energy? Paddymew 10:33, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

I have removed the note: "* Glyph of Essence can be used to cast Rebirth instantly with no drawbacks."

Because:

  1. It is extremely obvious.
  2. There is no much benefit in "fast" rebirthing. Ever heard of Unyielding Aura? Why 2 skills for what 1 can do? Plus what...you would use a build with double energy depletion skills?
  3. Both the Glyph of Essence and Rebirth are commonly used when there's going to be no need of energy soon.

I find it to be the kind of notes that end up overbloating the extensive pages and prefer not to see them at all. Just imagine if players were to add notes of all possible combinations... User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 15:43, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Zoning Portal[edit]

Anyone else notice that zoning portal on the bridge just before you reach Razah?
Yea, i was just talking to a guildie about it, wondering if the z-axis cheating Rebirth would work.. you tried it yet?Sloh Em Oshun 00:55, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Glyph of Lesser Energy[edit]

Should it be mentioned as a way to use Rebirth twice without penalty, or is that obvious enough that everyone knows it already? Erring Ryft 05:58, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

On an elementalist with enough energy storage to reduce the skill's cost to zero, you mean? It can't stop the thing from sucking all your energy out. --Star Weaver 18:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually, it works with any class...since GoLE at 0 Energy Storage reduces the next two spells' cost by 10 energy, and Rebirth costs 10 energy, you cast GoLE first, your energy gets zapped to nothing, but you still have another charge on GoLE to cast it for free, so you don't need any energy. It can also be cast twice by switching from a low energy to a high energy set, but I'm almost positive that everyone already knows that (usually fairly useless) trick. The GoLE trick seems to be a bit more useful.Erring Ryft 00:26, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Dude, I was so sure that GOLE gave -5 at 0 energy storage. O_o. --Star Weaver 00:33, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Heck then, you could switch to low energy, cast it, switch back, use Glyph, and cast it two more times. OTOH, I never use this unless I've got no aggro and am doing wipe recovery, so. --Star Weaver 00:34, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, not so useful practically, but it sure speeds the recovery process.Erring Ryft 03:48, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
While true that it would speed up recovery marginally, I don't think it's noteworthy. After a near-wipe, the whole party will have to regen, and a few seconds isn't a huge issue. Also, why not burn your energy management skills since you'll have time for them to recharge? --JonTheMon 03:33, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
The thing is, if a person carrying GoLE is also carrying Rebirth (which is somewhat likely, as its a fairly common skill for a Monk or Elementalist to carry), it seems a nice helpful hint if they want to use it twice...I'd say its just as noteworthy as the other notes on it, since:
1) The first note seems almost unnecessary, as I'm fairly sure most people can figure out that having no energy mid-battle while disabling an ally's skills right after resurrection isn't the greatest idea.
2) Reviving multiple teammates quickly while not aggroing monsters is even better than reviving them slowly while not aggroing monsters in a farming situation (assuming that you have more than one to begin with).
3) The GoE trick seems like more of a bug than anything else.
So, while I realize that the GoLE trick isn't exactly game-breaking, it's certainly useful since GoLE is a staple of so many builds anyway, and is far more likely to find its way into a group over things like GoE.Erring Ryft 05:07, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Number 2 doesn't even sorta only apply to farming, it's good for anywhere without rez shrines, especially if one of your players / heroes has a more survivable build / profession / loudout / playstyle than the other ... ^_^ (OTOH we recover from near wipes manually when possible even when shrines are available, so ...)--Star Weaver 06:10, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
That is not useful information in any way, shape or form. Misery 06:42, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Could you clarify that a bit? A statement without any justification or support seems a bit like you're asking us to just accept your opinion on faith, which doesn't really work very well.Erring Ryft 23:54, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
"Consider using energy management skills to manage energy" Misery 06:39, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Wow[edit]

There was a whole bunch of people with this on them in RA, both on my team and the opposing ones. I really have trouble thinking of a more useless rez to bring. This is for after party wipes in PvE--bringing it to PvP is incredibly stupid. >_< Green Arrow 19:41, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

All ressurects are stupid to bring in PvP, excluding non-rez battles like in the Random Arena. In PvE, Rebirth is the best ressurect ability I've ever seen. User Eryops3 Eryops Eye.jpg 14:09, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

All resurrect skills in lower-end PvP are Res Sigs, or nil. In high-tier PvP, that's a different story: Ritualist Resurrects like Flesh of my Flesh or Death Pact Signet are a common way to go. In PvE it's the same deal, though Sunspear Rebirth Signet is much better. Titani Uth Ertan 05:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

What is the range of this skill? --115.133.19.227 21:09, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

I've added range category. --Falconeye (talk) 02:41, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
