Dye

In the Dye decription it reads: "Dye can be applied to the scythe but has no effect upon the equipped appearance of the scythe. It does, however, change the color of the inventory icon." Is this a bug? I find that almost ALL if not all weapons dye the exact opposite. Visual changes, icon does not. -- RavenJWolfe 21:12, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

As far as I know, it happens to the Icy Dragon Sword and possibly the Fiery version too. I'm sure it's not a bug though :) -Chilli

Salvage...

We're pretty much all agreed that it's a crystalline scythe of some sort, yes? Then why on earth would it salvage iron and wood?.. ~ Da Si

This wiki isnt meant for pc's, but if you ask me, id say anywhere from 5-12k, depending on the mods on it. Prob is worth even more--Raph Talk 13:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Locked chests in hard mode

Like some people know, some drops can be found near some species and not near any other kind of species (excluding drops by location), making easier to know where they drop by giving a new location and way to find them, like the Serrated Spear, Magmas Shield, Elemental Sword, etc, while they don't drop near other creatures.

Based on this i got a Saurian Scythe from a Locked Chest near Raptors in Riven Earth, Screen-Shot:[1].

I'm just trying to help people to find one, this is, if they are looking for one.

P.S.: This was my first Locked Chest (Hard Mode) that i have opened near Raptors, i guess i'm lucky because i usually get Purple items from locked chests in GWEN. However i can be wrong, but at least i leave a screen-shot as a proof, maybe this can help in something. Regards. ~Inflame

Question on Rarity

This scythe is pretty awesome, I was wondering ; do we have any drop info? Im guessing its rare but the list of area's from which it drops is kinda scarce, and lists it as a random drop, which confuses with the fact its a rare random drop ( listen to me ramble on.. ) Anyway, just wondering the position of this scythe, a idea how rare? 68.115.80.140 03:43, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

I got a gold, rank 9 requirement, from a locked chest in hard mode. It was in Sparkfly Swamp. This scythe looks pretty bad ass In my opinion. I can't believe I got a perfect modded one, woot.74.243.163.26 21:20, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
