Which outpost is the quickest to the place and most efficient?[edit]

Which outpost do you leave from to get to the place the fastest (including the place you have to go to once you get there? Ill try and save a map but i dont know how to post it.Tycars125 19:02, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Doomlore Shrine might be the better option, since you'll enter into Sacnoth Valley from the north-east corner, and have an almost straight walk south to the titan in the burning forest. On the other hand, going from Longeye's Ledge requires crossing Grothmar Wardowns and much of Sacnoth Valley itself before reaching the titan. --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 19:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Doomlore shrine is Definately the better option, it has a nearby Siege Devourer spawn point(the only one I know of to be honest) nearby and it allows you to by bass anumber of foes it you want, but I'd go around to the southern entrance, it's closer to where the Titans spawn point is. I'd also do a lot of careful pulling. PRepare ato face aLOT of burning/fire damage.(Herta&Lynn as henchies, seemd to help, curiously the MM hero didn't...) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.193.143.94 (talk • contribs) at 12:05, 17 February 2009 (UTC).

Yeah, a MM would do very little, unless your a minion bomber... Flaming Hot Chilli 07:31, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

The titan is surprisingly squishy[edit]

The patrol is the real danger, as you'll get hit by a spam of Searing Flames. I managed to sneak in and kill the Titan even after stupidly getting myself and all my henchies and heroes to 60% death penalty from trying to defeat the patrol. After you kill the Titan the quest gets completed and it doesn't matter if you die. LastDay 04:16, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Change the listed foes?[edit]

Why are the burning spirits listed as foes? You only need to kill Ignus to complete the quest, which is also clearly stated in the quest log. I don't know if they're additional spawns when the quest is active, but even so, there's really no need to list them. 78.23.84.142 16:17, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Although you do not need to kill them, this quest spawns two additional spirits who are beside the titan and stationary. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 10:12, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Buggy Devourerer[edit]

Grrrr... I can't mount the Devourer whether or not I speak with Seer. Even if I accept his 'Watch it jiggle quest," which uses it, I can't mount the thing! Logging doesn't help. And, I've mounted it before many times. Eirynne, 29 June 2010. (UTC) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eirynne (talk • contribs) at 20:00, 29 June 2010 (UTC).

it's funny because you were at the wrong Devourer :P --Dragon7 cape emblem.pngThe Holy Dragons 13:56, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't agree that mounting the devourer is the best strategy for this quest even when you have the RIGHT one.--98.114.178.63 08:24, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Heinously Easy with farm/tank skills[edit]

I used Protective Spirit, Spirit bond, Shield of absorption and Balthazar's spirit to tank him then dragged him to a burning tree and he burned to death while I sat there and tanked. I think we should mention this on the page as it's pretty much doable on any /mo character and much easier than even the devourer. 23:22, 7 July 2010 (UTC) The Crippster

Other requirements?[edit]

My paragon, despite having done the pre-req quest listed, can't get the quest. Is there some other hidden prerequisites required? 70.139.49.71 00:33, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

scratch that, I'm an idiot and never saw the skill signifying I completed the quest >_> 70.139.49.71 00:34, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Not related to this post but meh... I did this quest after the other line of quests that supposedly follows it (Plan A and other Vael quests). Pretty sure the info is wrong, Plan A does not follow this quest. Not sure how to edit it out so just going to leave this here.
