my 2 cents on Tribal Axes[edit]
They drop from various warrior mob in Istan (usually bladed termites and Skale warriors). I've been trying to find a max damage inscribable with no luck. I have, however found about 10 of them so far, 2 of them being blue. The closest I have gotten to the Holy Grail is a req 9 6-27 dmg inscribable blue Tribal Axe.
I have heard various rumors that max gold Tribal Axes can drop, usually from HM chests in beginning areas of campaigns, but these are only far-fetched rumors so far.

- I've seen quite a few of these max tribal axes lately. Seems they are rather frequently droped from chests at the end of dungeons. I guess their value will drop a lot now. Dancing Gnome 19:33, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

I got one from a Modniir Berserker in Bjora Marches. Gold, 5-26 dmg, req10 (i think).
Tribal axes have clipping issues with some smaller characters' (primarily females) hands. i.e., Equipped on my Sin, her hand is almost completely covered by the axe haft. xD ~Xiao the Haft-Hand
I got a max r9 inscr one from a vattier in jagamoraine hm. So thats preety interesting. - Grim
