The category bar underneath this article is ridiculously large, can't something be done about it? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.141.132.155 (talk).

Not if we want to keep it accurate. -- Konig/talk 18:58, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
I really wish they'd remove/change the green icon over their head. Every time I see one, I think "oh hey, did I forget to finish a quest on this character or something?" only to realize it's not a quest at all. 96.33.173.168 19:32, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
I agree completely, the green arrow is quite irritating. On the point of the category, there's got to be a way to clean it up. It looks very trashy as is. perhaps linking to "Nightfall missions", "Cantha mission", "Prophecies missions" and "Eye of the North locations" would suffice? with a note saying something about where he's located (i.e. missions and eotn locales)" 68.104.204.103 04:52, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
ATM, the categories are done automatically via the use of {{NPC location}}, which is used to denote his locations, as it is with every other NPC. It's done the same as any other henchman - 5 of which are in nearly just as many locations as he is. -- Konig/talk 05:40, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
I agree. The green marker should be reserved for quests. 82.143.219.87 13:17, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Green Quest marker[edit]

Anyway we can get A-net to remove it from the npc? Its actually very confusing to new players who get sent to the island only to not know how to get back. Especially if they travel from a non-mission outpost like for example Ascalon City. If they have not been to a mission outpost before. they are stuck on the island and dependant to other players taking them back. i don't think that was what was intended. if new players cant read the dialog that the scout has that's there own fault for getting stuck there imho.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 22:52, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
You can not tell me you read every quest text completely in the game. I will not believe it. And taking away the quest marker would solve the stranded people problem since there's no quest. Or if the npc needs a market, give it a embark beach exclusive marker and some extra warning text. DBZVelena | (Talk page) User DBZVelena sig.jpg 21:40, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
when i am new to a game yes i do read everything. also your suggestions belong on the feedback namespace and will be ignored here. but my comment on them is that the live team has limited art resources so changing the icon is not going to happen because its so minor and people can learn to read.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 04:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Can't we at least get the marker removed once we've used the guy to travel to EB? Bugs the hell out of me having that sole quest marker in every damn outpost. --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 15:58, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Because I'm old and forgetful, I've come here to repeat the comment I made 11 years ago - get rid of that damned quest marker! — snogratUser Snograt signature.png 14:43, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
