"Raul" is the name of the male protagonist in Dan Simmons' Endymion series (and coincidentally Aenea's partner), and "Ramos" is simply a surname which I thought went well with it. Raul has pretty much been a spirit spammer from day one, well before it became so fast and fashionable as it is these days (I kinda miss the long binding ritual animations).
