	Profession: Monk Level: 20 Gender: Female Land of Origin: Cantha Created: November 2009 Background: I finally broke down and started playing as a healer (my Ritualist never ran any Restoration builds). While its a change from dealing damage/buffs, it's not quite as rewarding gameplay for me. So recently, I've changed to a Smiting build which has been much more fun. The name Ayla Rosmar comes from two literary inspirations. 'Ayla' is the protagonist in the 'Clan of the Cavebear' (and its sequels). While the books have their flaws, the depictions of Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon life are engaging. 'Rosmar' comes from Mercy Rosmar, a (somewhat minor) character in Julian May's 'Pliocene Exile' series of books, which are among my all-time favorite reads.
