There is a cow level [cow]There is a Cow level [cow] was a highly ranked American GvG guild. Cow was best known for our extremely aggressive play], ladder dominance, and Kry's legendary rage. The rage was grossly exaggerated, but the results speak for themselves. Cow had very high standards and was very competitive, but we also had a lot of fun together. It was basically the same core 10 people for the entire time – Kry, Brett, Champ, Siglet, Lotus, Jenbear, Devine and others were a lot of fun to play with and the in-guild trash talking was a blast. I joined cow in September 2006 and played with cow until we disbanded in May 2007. Guild AchievementsCow finished Fourth overall in the Autumn Season Playoffs. Unfortunately, that was our first and only playoff appearance. Because of the long gap in competitive play, cow was unable to play in any other playoff series. However, cow also finished 11th place in the Intersession Ladder #2. Cow was also selected as Guild of the Week. Cow also had outstanding ladder success, holding a top 10 position on the ladder for 10 months. Here is a chart of our GvG ladder standing:
Cow also spent a lot of time pugging on [Kry], [oreo], [Jen], and others. We powered several of our pugs into the top 30 in a matter of days using whichever cows were online and four IRC pugs while running Grab 8 and Go. Builds Used and My RoleCow always ran extremely high offense pressure builds. Our builds almost always had at least two physicals, a ranger, and a domination Mesmer and focused on aggressive warrior play and precision shutdown to shear away the other team’s defense. Our offense was extremely effective, often smashing teams in six minutes or less. Cow believed that the best defense is a good offense, as our “defense” was usually based on disruption, the threat of our damage dealers, good communication, and smart tactics. I joined cow as a monk, but the strain of healing kry as he frenzysiged in the lord area was very stressful for me. By the end of my second season in cow, I asked to play midline, although sometimes I would still be forced to monk.
