- That quote is not so much a quote, its actually whats called the omnipotence paradox. The stone is merely an example. Its a question I pose to anyone that tries to bring their religion upon me (Witness's/mormons mostly). --Master Briar 15:56, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- That kinda people will usually say omnipotence doesn't include logical paradoxes. I don't really like this argument, a better one is the one with omniscience. If God is omniscient, then all knowledge has always been stored in his mind. That means everything, every idea, has always existed in God's mind for no apparent reason. Not a very satisfactory explanation, I'd say. 83.163.190.111 18:32, 31 March 2010 (UTC) (this is Morphy too lazy to sign in btw)

Speaking of Jehovah's Witnesses (One of them called me offering a free book just the other day). "I defy you to name one single acknowledged religion that doesnt have a bloodlist longer than the combined kills of every serial killer in the history of america (and i only use america here because with the exception of Jack the ripper im not familiar with any serial killers anywhere else in the world). - Briar 02:01, 19 December 2009 (UTC)" Seem like pretty friendly people when they come around. Sardaukar 13:55, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- I sat through a lecture by the son of Jack the Ripper's first victim. He went on a 30 minute rant about how his mother wasn't a prostitute, gingers are amazing and speed is great. *edit* that was the Yorkshire Ripper, never mind.--neshot 13:59, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- [1] google is your friend. --Master Briar 20:06, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- That site had an obvious bias. Nevertheless, even with that info, they still don’t meet your criterion of having a "bloodlist longer than the combined kills of every serial killer in the history of america". I may have miscounted but I got 17 in that list of articles, some of which weren’t verified, but we can just let that go for the sake of your charge. Now Ted Bundy had 20 verified kills, he admitted to more, and he’s just one serial killer on a long list. Sardaukar 08:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Tbh i dont actually care. I don't really feel like spending my day compiling a blood list of every dead body slain "In the name of our lord". Not my idea of a fun friday night. That was just the first link I found. If you'd like to see more dead people for the sake of an argument as stupid as this one please, by all means, Cross reference jehovas witness and victim. But I don't feel the need to defend a claim that was never meant to be taken so litterally. The point is that more lives have been lost because of Old words in Old books than for any other reason in the history of the world. --Master Briar 09:02, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- I just wanted to see if you'd be honest enough to admit you were wrong about the Witnesses. I'm sure you felt you were absolutely right when you wrote what I quoted, so the burden of proof was on your shoulders. No need for me to do any research. Now that you've changed your statement to non-literal, I wonder if you’re the type that just back peddles all the time when someone calls you out. Just curious, because your latest line about "more lives have been lost because of Old words in Old books than for any other reason in the history of the world" is wrong as well. Wars (i.e. non-religious ones, See WW2), diseases, and natural disasters have taken far more lives. Although I’d agree with you wholeheartedly that religion has blood on its hands, the nationalistic and commercial efforts of mankind have laid more life to waste. Anyway, reasonable discussions are to be had elsewhere. Take care. Sardaukar 13:41, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry did you just suggest that Nazi's were non-religious? --Master Briar 19:49, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Also, It is not upon me to prove anything to you. Your the one that rolled up in here telling me in wrong about something that was obviously an overgeneralized statement. And Im not entirely sure when the internets became super srsbsns, But i missed the memo and would appreciate you forwarding it to me. While you insist on pissing me off though, i will tell you that quoting old, removed, overgeneralized crap from my page serves no purpose other than to stir shit up and troll me. If you think I removed it for shits and giggles then I'll go ahead and let you know right now, I didn't. I don't post that kinda stuff for shits and giggles. I removed it because I gave it thought and realized that I need to research further into the matter before speaking on it. I realized that it was overgeneralized on my own. But thank you for pointing it out there sir. I truly appreciate it.--Master Briar 20:22, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- You're right, the internets aren't super serious business. You're perfectly free to act like an idiot if you want. But the burden of proof is still on you, since you made the claim. You can't just say "the sky is red" and expect everyone to believe you because you said it. The same goes for "the earth is 7,000 years old" and "there is a god", by the way. -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 20:26, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

- I suggest that you're all teenagers or college students, are not history or theology majors, and have done no credible, impartial research whatsoever, and thus have no idea what you're talking about. Stop waxing idiotic and go back to arguing game balance. elix Omni 06:04, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

- I'm loathe to get involved with this debate, but just to point out one minor point in regards to Jeohvas witnesses. The religion does dictate that one cannot have a blood transfusion which has resulted in many such people dying from injuries they could have otherwise recovered from. Not saying this in anyway supports Briar's statement (as it doesn't) but just saying that those people could be said to be victims of their own faith. -- Salome 23:33, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Moved bullshit[edit]
- → moved from Talk:Permanent Shadow Form
Okay then. Ill make it very simple for you. you have no good reason' to delete the perma-former from the wiki. It is the single most important PvE build in the game today. Simple enough for you?--Master Briar 02:46, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Have you yet removed the delete tag and put in the edit summary "I'll clean this up soon"? No? Then why are you still bitching? -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 02:59, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Because I cant remember the Clean-up template, because I'm tired of people reverting me just because its me because I'm right because its absolutely stupid how much hate this build gets just for being the most effective thing in the blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Take your pick. Idc really. I'm arguing because you started an argument with me. Don't start arguments with me and I won't start an argument back. Sound good? --Master Briar 03:04, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- You don't need to add the {{cleanup}} template - in fact, if you did, you'd probably have to deal with edit conflicts as other people tried to fix what you were fixing. I doubt people revert you because you're right (especially after the astonishing intellect you've displayed here). No one cares if you're arguing with me, especially myself, and you're just wasting your own time and brain cells in doing so. Did I miss anything? -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 03:13, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Apparently you do. Because guess what, youuuurrrreee stillllll heeeerrrreeeeeeee!!!! And I think maybe you should take a reading class, Here, I'll help.
- "Because I can't remember the clean-up template" - And I didn't. Because its not important and tbh untill its re-written It is technically considered historical content. However, it does not need a deletion tag. Because while it is very full of misinformation in its current state, it is still very much alive and very much a part of guildwars. Following me so far?
- "Because I'm tired of people reverting me just because its me" which you do. (notice how you just had to fix me, but not KJ?) Yeah, see, thats you coming after me. Deny it all you want but really idc because you suck at passive aggressiveness and i think passive aggressiveness is stupid and superficial anyway. You didn't revert me because I was wrong, you reverted me because I'm me. And you will do anything and everything you can to impede me and make me look like a troll. I've grown accustomed to this however and it no longer phases me. Moving on.
- "Because I'm right" and I am right. This build is a massive part of guildwars today and is the build of choice for pretty much any elite area you could possibly dream of stepping into. As such it will follow its brethren (the 55 the MM and the Imbagon) all of which are staples of PvE if you really had that hard of a time figuring that out on your own and it will get its own page to document the history of such an influential and powerful build that played such a major role in the history of GW.
- The last bit was just me trailing off into insane gibberish because, as you keep throwing up non-consequential arguments and trying to use them as a cover up for simply dying to revert me and call me out, I felt the need to call you out on it. Get it now? Hope so. Because I'm done with this argument. --Master Briar 03:27, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- For one, finding the cleanup tag isn't exactly difficult. If it's not important, why bring it up? Why not just... remove the delete tag, as I've said multiple times you should do?
- That's... not a revert. Sorry. That's my OCD blaring at me. KJ's indent fail doesn't trigger it because I see people indent at the same amount as the previous commenter when responding to two posts previous all the time. Sorry about that. (Yes, the original post sets my OCD off too, but I can't be fucked fixing the colons until the indent reset, so I just live with it.) And yes, I would have done that for anyone I noticed. I just happen to notice it more when you do it because you do it a lot more than other people. The world isn't out to get you, I promise. There's absolutely nothing I need to do to make you look like a troll - I just have to link your posts to Auron or someone if I really care about that kind of thing.
- If you're so convinced that the wiki needs a page on it, for god's sake remove the delete tag and mention something in the edit summary about how you're going to clean it up. Jesus christ, stop being paranoid - it's making you look dumb.
- -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 03:49, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- I tried removing the delete tag. You reverted me. Remember sweetheart? --Master Briar 03:50, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Stop trolling. I know you have a brain - use it.
- I removed the delete tag with the reason of "the talk page doesn't relate to actually deleting the page at all". You then said "Ok, I'll fix the page at some point in the future." I then said (repeatedly) "Oh, ok then! Go ahead and remove the tag and mention something about that in the edit summary."
- I really don't see why you haven't removed the tag yet, unless you really can't comprehend what I've written (or you've just not read it, but that doesn't seem likely given the depth of your arguments).
- -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 04:14, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Re: boomerang arrows[edit]
It also doesn't make sense. That doesn't make paragons make any more sense, now does it? is for Raine, etc. 06:52, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Drama?[edit]
Pling's pruning page isn't drama. There's no heated emotions, no controversy, and really no disagreement, unless you count the pitiful cries of the trolls as they are squashed underfoot. elix Omni 21:27, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- /shrug. You say thats not drama. I say it is. And trust me, Trolls will come back and create yet more drama. --Master Briar 21:29, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- And they'll get banned and ignored. Maybe laughed at. elix Omni 21:29, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- I despise french. And if you do then why are we having this conversation? They're going to log in, Stir up some shit, Get blocked, Switch socks, Stir up more shit, So on so forth. Imo this will make this site more like 4chan because now everyone is going to be posting as anonymous to save themselves the trouble of logging in before they get blocked. So again, /shrug. You say its not drama, i say it is. --Master Briar 21:33, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Just drop it, you guys will never get in agreement. Reaper of Scythes** 21:35, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, he does not. I also like how he tries to prove that Pling's article has no drama by causing drama on your talk page. :3 That article is full of ego nerds, hypocticy and butthurt people. That article is in itself a troll. --Myotheraccount 21:52, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- I have split personalities, schizophrenia, and more personalities than every Asian culture in the history of the world combined.
- On a more serious note, I usually figure it out on my own when I'm wrong. And have no problem admitting it after I do. And have a habit of making fun of myself for it. Half because I'm a dick and half because I'm an emotional masochist. --Master Briar 10:57, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
