Chad grew up in a family of fighters, all his sisters and brothers are either warriors or rangers. He saw Raena for the first time on duty as a guard at a ball organised for Prince Rurik. Raena grew up as the oldest daughter in a small family. Her father was a diplomat and her mother sadly passed away at a young age. That is why she always accompanied her father to social gatherings. She had a good insight into people and their motives, so her father considered her to be his best advisor in those matters. After she laid eyes on Chad she couldn't eat for days. She thought he'd used a hex on her, but when she found out he's just a plain warrior without any talent for magic she was even more impressed. This was the first time someone was able to play with her mind and he didn't even use a spell for it! She has dedicated her life to her family, but since the girls are grown up she's again active in the community.

It is cliché, but being the oldest daughter Pepper has been taking care of other people since she was a kid. She's always helping out, lending an ear, or a shoulder if needed. She has an instinctive awareness of other people's needs. It only seemed natural that she become a monk who learned the art of healing and protecting. For those who know her well it came as a surprise when she recently started to use her talents to kill foes; Being rather destructive, using splodeys to blow up foes as well as walls and sometimes just for no reason at all. She seems to have a craving for killing now... it's almost like something changed in her soul. People who know her agree that she has a different look in her eyes since she returned from Elona. But when you ask her about it she waves it aside. So no one but Pepper knows what actually happened there...

When Sunya was little she was always concerned with the environment, she never wanted to throw anything away. She was always collecting stuff always trying to find some use for old things again. As little as she was she made a treehouse out of some leftover wood, made clothes for her dolls out of old sheets and even once made a musical instrument out of bottles. She is a thinker, always wondering how she can help make the world a better place. When she became older she found interest in reusing dead bodies. She is very practical about it, she says it's only logical to not waste a body. "Why let it turn to dust when there are still useable parts in it?" Ever since Pepper told her about Elona she's destined to travel there and study the Gate of Pain. Let's just hope it will not change her like it did Pepper...

When Snow was born everyone was startled. Never had someone in the Hotsprings family been known to be born with such light hair. Her hair was so light, the only name that seemed fit was Snow and so she was named. Snow was the one always coming home covered in dirt. She climbed in every tree and hid behind or under bushes, knew every blade of grass, every animal hole. She loves to spend time with nature, though doesn't seem to seek the company of animals much. She experiences beyond the tangible world. She can hear the wind whisper and communicate with the spirits of nature. She always seems to know what is hidden beneath the surface of things. And ever since Pepper came home with a celestial rat as a present for her, she spends nights outside, lying on her back, watching the stars and murmering about going to Cantha to become Weh no Su.

When Faye was a baby her parents worried there was something wrong with her eyes, it seemed like she didn't focus. Growing up Faye's eyes proved to work fine. Yet they seemed to have some sort of hypnotizing effect on the other kids. She always had the best toys to play with and won most of the games, even when she wasn't too good at it. She used her hypnotizing skills to influence other kids to do what she wanted. When her mum found out, she decided to cast backfire on little Faye whenever she used her skill for the bad. Faye learned her lesson and later on in life decided to put her hypnotic gaze to positive use as a paragon. She could have followed her mum and become a fine mesmer, but when her mum can't hear it she says she doesn't want to use her skills in a sneaky way. Maybe the tricks her mum used on her hurt her pride just a tad too much...

Poof's original name is Leya, but ever since she appeared out of nowhere in the kitchen when her mother was late with feeding her, everyone's been calling her Poof. It always has been difficult to discipline her, since she could get out of her room whenever she wanted. Probably that is why she was always walking the thin lines when she was a teenager. She is very dedicated to improving her shadow arts in the arena, so she doesn't have the time to go travel, and she doesn't feel the need to. Always being around the Temple of Balthazar, she knows alot of the local people, which comes in handy because she keeps all the more expensive stuff from the family in her storage. She goes to auctions and makes all the trades with the people who bought the stuff. She makes it a sport to make the trade as soon as possible after the closing of the auction, but she might just be so fast because she loves poofing so much...
Ice Hotsprings

After Snow being born the shock wasn't as big when they saw Ice's hair. But still it's considered to be quite special, so it was decided to give her a name that referred to her hair too. And if it was her name, or it was already in her genes no one can tell, but Ice is kinda...icy... Although her parents and sisters are convinced of her love for them she doesn't seem to have feelings, just logic. She doesn't understand what people (like Sunya for instance) have against raising minions out of their dead friends. Ice will not hesitate for a second if she can get another minion from a dead friend. She states that if it was a real friend he or she wouldn't mind helping her out a bit longer. That is probably why she is doing so well in the arena. Although she also likes to curse people too, not cuz she's pissed off...no that leaves her cold. She likes to curse people just for fun.

Momo is and actually always has been kinda hyperactive. Never makes a simple movement, no she always has to show off. Although if you speak to her she might just say she prefers to move gracefully even if it takes a little more practice. She always liked to dress up pretending she was someone else. So she chose to make that her profession and become a Dervish, specialised in the use of avatars. As sharp as her scythe is, as blunt is her tongue. She calls it honesty, but sometimes she seems to forget that being that honest can also result in hurt feelings. She's not exactly a homing pigeon, but she's working hard on improving her sense of direction, so she will be able to run people from town to town in the future.

Just as the family got used to having white haired kids, Rose was born. The reddish family colors seemed to have mixed with the white of Snow and Ice. And well what more fitting name than Rose? Being the benjamin of the family she actually got spoiled...alot. She doesn't really have future plans. Besides what dress she wants to buy and what color she will dye it. She just likes to dream about clothes, drink sugary blue drinks and chat with her friends, go dancing in Kamadan and borrowing another minipet from Pepper every day to flaunt with it. She says later in life she of course will put her elemental talents to good use, but for now she just wants to be free and enjoy her life.
