As the only child of a well known and respected psychiatric doctor, Ardan was always fascinated with the mind and it's many nuances and eccentricities. In the hopes of helping his father advance his treatment techniques, Ardan worked towards fusing the scientific study of the mind with that of the occult and thus was naturally drawn to the Mesmer disciplines of magic. As Ardan advanced his knowledge of what it was to be a mesmer, he gained an insight in to both how to cause and cure ailments of the mind, eventually surpassing his fathers achievements in the field. However this all changed during the Searing. With his homeland destroyed and most of his family, friends and colleagues either dead or missing, all desire to cure the mentally ill fled from Ardan. Now his sole aim is to destroy every creature which preys on the weak, one mind at a time. |
