Notes[edit]

  • The foe must successfully activate a skill for Wastrel's Worry to end early. An interrupted/canceled skill does not count.
  • The description is somewhat misleading; if Wastrel's Worry ends early for any reason, the foe does not take damage.
  • Casting Wastrel's Worry on a foe already hexed with it has no effect.
  • The hex is especially effective on foes that do not use skills (e.g. minions and pets) and those with active hex reduction (e.g. most bosses, Natural Resistance).
  • Wastrel's Worry is also useful to force targets to choose how they take damage — from (a) failure to use a skill (this hex) or by using a skill (e.g. Visions of Regret, Empathy, Backfire).
  • Heroes preferentially use this on casters.
