What Codex Should've Been[edit]

Think of it like a 4v4 HA.

The Maps[edit]

1. Ascalon Arena: Annihilation.[edit]

  • The first party to wipe loses.
    • Killing an opposing player grants your team a 2% Morale Boost.
  • After 8 minutes, the team with higher Morale will be declared victorious if neither team has wiped.

2. Sunspear Arena: Relic Annihilation.[edit]

  • Two relics are spawned near the center of the map, just past the bridge, nearer to the opposing party's side.
  • Players may pick up either team's relic.
    • While carrying a relic, you move 66% slower, receive 20% less benefit from healing, and suffer 2 Energy Degeneration.
    • Picking up your team's relic grants your team a 5% Morale Boost.
    • Dropping any relic grants the opposing team a 5% Morale Boost.
  • The first team to return their own relic to their base is victorious.
  • Players with less than 30% Death Penalty are resurrected at their base every minute.

3. The Beachhead: Capture Points.[edit]

  • Every 30 seconds, your team gains 1 point for each altar under their control.
    • Every 30 seconds, the team in control of the central altar will gain a 5% Morale Boost.
    • Shrines are captured by dealing damage to characters near them; the rate of capture is proportional to the rate of damage. Killing a foe in capture range instantly captures that shrine. Additionally, standing near a shrine provides 1 pip toward capturing it.
  • Party members with less than 30% Death Penalty are resurrected in their base every 30 seconds.
    • Members of team in control of the central altar will be resurrected there, instead.
  • The first team to reach 20 points wins.

4. Fort Koga: Natural Annihilation.[edit]

  • The first party to wipe loses.
    • Killing an opposing player grants your team a 2% Morale Boost.
  • The map is affected by Nature's Renewal and Tranquility.

5. Seabed Arena: Priest Annihilation.[edit]

  • The first party to wipe irrevocably loses.
  • Party members are resurrected at their base every minute if their Priest is alive.

6. Shiverpeak Arena: Frigid Annihilation.[edit]

  • The first party to wipe loses.
    • Killing an opposing player grants your team a 2% Morale Boost.
  • The map is affected by Winter and Frozen Soil.

7. Deldrimor Arena: Relic Annihilation.[edit]

  • Two relics are spawned at the opposing team's resurrection shrine.
  • Players may pick up either team's relic.
    • While carrying a relic, you move 66% slower, receive 20% less benefit from healing, and suffer 2 Energy Degeneration.

10. The Crag: Kill Count.[edit]

  • Killing an opposing player grants your team 1 point.
  • Dead players are resurrected at the nearest friendly resurrection shrine every 30 seconds.
  • After 3 minutes, the team with the most points wins.
  • If the teams are tied, the match enters Sudden Death, and the next team to score a kill is declared victorious.

11. Bombardment: Capture Points.[edit]

  • Every 30 seconds, your team gains 1 point for each altar under their control.
    • Every 30 seconds, the team in control of the central altar will gain a 5% Morale Boost.
