Statistics[edit]

Background[edit]

Managorin is Mark's second character to go through Factions. Mark chose the name "Managorin" since this name is one that he commonly uses to name mage characters in RPG, ever since he started playing the "Quest for Glory" series in the early 90s. He chose an elementalist since it was a class he has never had much experience with, besides Random PvP.

Background[edit]

Managorin's real name is a mystery as anyone who questions him can expect to be at the receiving end of an Obsidian Flame spell. What is known (from secondary sources of course) is that he was originally born in the Kurzick settlement of Lutgardis Conservatory. Although at a young age, Managorin was sent to study at Shing Jea Monastery in the magical arts.

The elementalist's school at Shing Jea Monastery was full of A-type personalities, and Managorin figured that the adage "when in Rome do what the Romans do" was applicable here. As a result, over the years, Managorin became arrogant and cocky, just like his classmates. He also had an insatiable appetite to learn all he could about the arcane arts. Managorin has a good memory and this results in him remembering many spells by heart. His good memory is also responsible for his favouring of earth magic. When he was a child, he remembered many times praying to the goddess Melandru, the patron goddess for rangers and geomancers. As a result it was no surprise that he decided to become a geomancer himself as it was familiar territory to him.

As soon as Managorin graduated, he quickly learns of the Afflicted by witnessing them first hand at Minister Cho's Estate and then at Zen Daijun. Managorin delights in the prospect of putting his brilliant magic to the test and prepares himself to battle the legions of Afflicted on the mainland.
