Story

Little is known about this avatar. What follows is a chronicling of what is known from first-hand witnesses. She was a student at the Holy Dwayna Academy for Wayward & Incorrigible Girls (Ascalon City branch), and was most likely an orphan. One night while studying alone in the library she noticed a young girl walking between the shelves of books. Upon approach the girl didn't seem to notice her presence, she called to the girl "Hey you, what are you doing here?", startled the girl said "Me and Adam were just taking a walk", curious she responded "Who's Adam? and for that matter who are you?", "My names Eve, and this is Adam" producing a skull with her left hand, and displaying it inches from the young monks face. Startled she let out a small scream and fell backwards into the isle. As Eve laughed another young woman came running up the isle. "Eve!" she screamed, "Alisa, what are you doing here?", "Rashenna sent me, The Charr are attacking! You must use warn Matron Irma immediately!", "But shes in the libr... courtyard. I'll warn her immediately." Running past the young monk Eve took her by the wrist and lead her to the back of the library. "Where are we going?" she asked, "To...umm, safety." she said as she pulled a book from one of the shelves and flipped the switch behind it. As the bookcase split in two, the girls rushed in and closed it quickly, running up the halls of this secret library the bumped into an elderly matron. Furious she proclaimed "How did you get in here?", "The Charr are attacking." said Eve nearly out of breath, "The Charr?! *gasp* Tydus!" as the old woman left the room in a panic, Eve ran to the large book in the center of the library, as the young monk followed Eve began frantically searching through the large black-covered book. "What are you doing?" she asked, "This is the Book of Shadows, i'm looking for... ah, here it is!" as Eve read the page she turned to the young girl with a half-hearted smile, "Err... nothing personal sweetheart". As the girl fell limp to the ground she saw a vision of the shiverpeak mountains. as Eve steped through the portal, she turned to the girl, flicked her wrist and said "Nox.". As the life faded from the girl a dark thought passed her mind, suddenly and painfully, from her body spikes began appearing, like tormented bones they twisted and cut through her skin and cloths. Her composure began to turn pale and the pain began to fade, as the blood began to form runes on her skin, she slowly stood up, almost lifeless her thoughts began to return to her. As the realization of what had happened sunk in, she began to cry, as the tears of blood passed over her cheek's they fell to the floor. Running along the grooves cut into the rock, as the blood began flowing into the center of the room, the stone began glowing. The Bloodstone had been awakened. As the searing destroyed everything around her, the bloodstone acted as an aegis protecting her from harm. after the screams ceased and the fires burnt down she saw the image of Serenity Temple almost completely destroyed. With hope in her heart she ran to the temple, but was stopped near the gate by an arrow which struck the ground by her feet. "Stop monster! come no further!" the wounded soldier cryed out. Looking at her hands and body she knew they would never understand or accept the "new" her. So she turned and wandered into the eastern frontier, sobbing as the refugee's passed her with bedazzled looks on their faces. This would be the last time she was ever seen by Mortal eyes for nearly 10 years. The last known sighting was by Brother Mhenlo in approximately 1080AE, while returning from a visit to Shing Jea Monastery, he boarded a ship bound for Lion's arch, mid way through the trip, while passing near the Ring of Fire island chain, he saw the vision of a young girl, walking across the surface of the water, as the ship passed within feet of her Mhenlo called to her, "Who are you?", to this she responded only "Ego Sum A Monachus".

Notes

• Eve refuses to disclose the spell she cast, all she will tell us is that it is was a teleportation spell similar to that which the Asura used to create the Asura Gates.
• It is believed that Mhenlo knows more then what he printed, and refuses to acknowledge how he knew about the bloodstone, and how the girl was transformed.
  • It is believed that Mhenlo may have contacted Kormir while transcribing this document.
    • The bloodstone was confirmed to exist however there are no traces of it that remain as the searing left only a large crystal at its location in Pockmark Flats.
• The Forgotten will craft armor similar to that which she wears, this armor is naught but a costume as it can be removed.
