User:The Slayer
I am now a member of X as I am too lazy to update when I change guild (or rather when I find a new one after being kicked for inactivity XD) My own guild failed miserably. I play both PVE and PVP.
My goals are getting all combat based titles(maxed), completing all campagins Done!, getting all elite skills and understanding why my userpage is such a mess..
Characters[edit]
LvL:20 My almighty main.
LvL:20 My Ranger, my oldest character and second to my main.

General Gaming Style[edit]
I am mainly a PvP player. Sure, it can be fun to slaughter the weak monsters in the easiest difficulty and sure, it can be challenging to play the highest difficulty, but I still prefer PvP over PvE because in PvP, two battles are almost never similar. In PvE, playing the same mission ten times is extremly boring but playing the same type of PvP ten times is a lot more fun.
In FPS
I am skilled at FPS games. If that means I am making the greatest zombie massacre(PvE) ever seen or totally slaughtering everyone on the enemy team(PvP) until they all leave, well, you can figure that out yourself;)
My FPS-Achivements include but are not limited to:
- After I had dominated a CoD: WaW server (with all weapons and most perks, not using second chance or martyrdom much at all) it was closed down, maybe because they didn't want me to own everyone XD
- Got five kills in one rocket shot and then getting 4 kills almost instantly after(hunting boosters in mw2 when I found a full lobby of them)
- Being invited to join a (sort of big) team several times because of my score alone.
- People have even blamed me for aimbotting while playing legit (I never hack, why would I when I can do as good or better without hacks?)
In RTS
I like RTS games, but I am not very good at them. In dawn of war, as well as batle for middle earth 2(two RTS games I play)I think it is a huge achievement beating the medium difficulty... I am slightly better in PvP there too, but not notably.
Cut that, I am currently in european gold and platinum leauge in Starcraft 2 (which is said to be about north american diamond leauge, which would mean I'm pretty good :3)
In RPG
I like leveling (AS LONG AS IT ISN'T GRINDING! GRINDING IS BORING AS *insert random curse word*!!!) and getting new and better gear, beating bosses and completing quests. And I am pretty good at most single player RPGs, however, every time I've played a single player RPG a lot, I've noticed that I want PvP there too. Not true, I don't want pvp in neverwinter nights (both game 1 and 2), I am always unlucky and that game contains too many luck rolls >.<
In other Online games and MMO's
I've tried a lot of MMO's, often I quit playing them though. I build my strength in PvE and then go PvP. The games are normally way too bad for me to stay long enough to ever get close to pvp. Not much more to say.
Gaming Style in Guild Wars[edit]
Guild Wars is (sort of) balanced, it has great (except when your minions agro a massive mob and you have to restart the mission) PvE and wonderful (except all the trolls) PvP. It is a large world, the developers aren't greedy like in many other games, instead they value a good gaming experience over them getting rich(which is why they are the only ones I've spent money onXD(except buying games, of course))
In Guild Wars, like in many other games, I play a lot of PvP. However, you will find me more mature than the average PvP player. (at least the ones who use the chat system, the ignore list is way too small for me to continue speaking in pvp and I suppose most other good players have figured that out as well) I prefer dealing damage over healing, I've never really got into healing. (playing the health bar game is boring!) When playing PvP, in difference to most other people, I am not limited to a few elites and builds, I almost never play with wounding strike, I prefer using Reaper's Sweep or Onslaught instead, (before the update killed poor reaper's sweep QQ) sometimes I use Avatar of Lyssa(with a Scythe and not daggers)and sometimes I play with other elites.
On warriors though, I usually have a fixed right half of my skill bar, Res signet, Lion's Comfort, Enraging Charge and a boost to attack speed(reversed order). However, the rest of my skill bar can be everything from a hammer bar(using Devastating Hammer, sadly I recently made a build using enraged smash to make a spike of almost 300 damage in two attacks (assuming crits) which I then follow up with a knockdown and a deep wound. The best thing about this build is that it requires no adrenaline building at all since Enraged Smash and Enraging Charge gives me 7 adrenaline instantly) keeping the targert on the floor for around 8 secs to an axe bar that makes a nice spike(using CLEAVE!)
On my ranger, I like mixing damage, conditions and interrupts. Again, I prefer using rarely used elites(Prepared Shot for example) but always bring an interupption skill(dshot+res sig=good)and (usually) a condition skill.
In PvE, I well, I kill stuff, as simple as that:p
Me on the wiki[edit]
I was originally planning to just use the wiki to have a profile and maybe revert some vandalism. Later, when I realised that there is nowhere near as much vandalism here as on wikipedia, I have started doing minor edits to try to improve some articles but mainly use it to have a profile and to join discussions.
