Copyvio template

Why did you create Talk:Diamond/Temp? There is already an article Diamond which includes the information you placed in that talk page. — Gares 10:22, 15 February 2007 (PST)

Because the copyright violation told me to create a page there, that's not copied from GWiki. Should change the copyvio notice if that page should not have been created, maybe I read the notice wrong. — Anja 10:48, 15 February 2007 (PST)
Nah, you read it right and did the right thing. That's just me not paying attention to detail. I didn't notice that the main article was an exact copy to GW's. — Gares 12:08, 15 February 2007 (PST)

Armor stuff!

Do you have msn or gmail? Would be easier to contact each other while we work on things that way. If so, use the email me thing on my page to let me know your details and we can talk about this a bit easier. ^_^ - BeXoR 03:05, 24 February 2007 (EST)

Specify a valid email or allow me to email to it first ;) I think my "email me" link should work now, try that one. — Anja 03:07, 24 February 2007 (EST)
Doh! I'll send it over now lol. - BeXoR 03:09, 24 February 2007 (EST)
I remembered something!!! In crafting tables instead of "head chest feet" remember to do "scalp design, vestments (sometimes for monk its raiment - i have it in a file if you don't want to check) sandals". I haven't actually looked at yours yet, so if you're doing it, then awesome already. I've gotta fix mine. :P - BeXoR 07:19, 27 February 2007 (EST)
I think I need that file :P Does it include the names on the collector armor too? — Anja 12:00, 27 February 2007 (EST)
If you're on MSN any more today I'll be doing more Mesmer ones. I noticed that one of the Mesmer armor was getting called "Mesmer's armor" on gwiki when there isn't any art in game with that name (it was actualy Stylish). And if you see here Mesmer Krytan armor/Collector that's what I did, and I linked the piece names to Basic armor cause that's the stats they have. - BeXoR 00:40, 28 February 2007 (EST)
The thing is, all professions have different collector armor names.. I think monk armor is named "Monk's armor" for both collector and tyrian in prophecies, but I'm not sure. Too lazy to check it now :P I'll be on msn all day today, just send it when you see me. — Anja 04:17, 28 February 2007 (EST)
All of the acquisition info is wrong. I'll go through all the pages and fix the acquisition if you want to do the colors? - BeXoR 07:29, 4 March 2007 (EST)
In what? The art type pages? — Anja 08:02, 4 March 2007 (EST)
Yeah, half of them don't have the colored tables. I thought you were switching them over earlier? The acquisition section info isn't accurate in nearly all of the articles so I'm going to completely change it. - BeXoR 08:04, 4 March 2007 (EST)
Yes, I was. Then the sun came and made my screen unreadable :P I'll continue coloring them when I can see better. — Anja 08:05, 4 March 2007 (EST)
There are a lot of missing images from the Hero armor sections. I also would suggest using 000, EEE, DDD for the Hero armor tables to avoid confusion. - BeXoR 08:10, 4 March 2007 (EST)

Hi

I didn't realise it was Stylva :) Hello! LordBiro 08:32, 1 March 2007 (EST)

Hey! :) Thought I'd use a more Guild Wars related name this time. ;)— Anja 08:40, 1 March 2007 (EST)

User page

Ah, I like the stretch you did with the boxes much better. Funny though how your character map box looks like it's all in a jumble. Perhaps a table with invisible edges might work for your needs? --File:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 14:55, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

My userpage and IE is very much not in love.. Do you use IE? In my Firefox it looks ok :) — Anja 15:00, 14 March 2007 (EDT)
Ah yes. The forever IE/Firefox problem. That makes sense. Yes, I use IE. Thanks. --File:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 15:04, 14 March 2007 (EDT)
Awesome user page! Especially the characters page! I'd better go come up with something for mine... -- ab.er.rant sig 03:43, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
Thanks alot :) - Anja Astor 03:45, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

0 parameters

Dont matter anymore. User Blastedt sig.jpgBLASTEDT 20:28, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

Nope, but they clutter the pages, and I'm in a cleanup mood today :) — Anja 20:29, 14 March 2007 (EDT)
And...now 0 adrenaline ones do matter, cant put in a safety catch for unknown reasons. Sweep away. User Blastedt sig.jpgBLASTEDT 20:47, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

Stuff

Yes, I am planning on changing all the articles. It's a little difficult at the moment because my isp disconnected me for 2 weeks and I'm stuck using dial up that drops out all the time. I've had to reconnect 4 times already, plus MSN is acting weird and crashing constantly. :( I was wondering if you could help with condensing the weapon bow and offhand infoboxes into one, with a parameter type = weapon/bow/offhand that says which fields will be included in the template. It's really frustrating trying to do this stuff when your net just stops working every half an hour. And I have to reboot to get it to start again. :( - BeXoR 06:56, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

Oh >< That's really evil, I understand it's not that easy to work on things with those problems. I can try to make a solution to the weapon thingie, but my solution always consists of LOTS of if's ;) But if that is okay, I think I can fix it :) I will experiment with it over at my sandbox to stop the reload of all the weapons in the main namespace when their template changes.
I also have two other huge tasks going on, so I might not work that fast :) (Skill pages and icons, and armor pages) — Anja 07:01, 15 March 2007 (EDT)
It's nothing you need to hurry on, but I think it's something good to aim for, and I don't know how to do it myself and am not very eager to learn about it when all these problems are happening. :( At the moment I'm just trying to pick a colour scheme for the infoboxes, because they seem pretty random, and maybe try to learn how to make the skill infobox look like the other infoboxes. Plus slowly changing all the skill articles too. :P BTW if you're interested in colour changes or have suggestions check User:BeXoR/Infoboxes - BeXoR 07:04, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

Gr v. Green

Just wanted to check for comments at Template talk:Gr before its use becomes too widespread. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:45, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

Thanks

I forgot to thank you for helping me by showing how to test templates from my userspace. Unfortunately due to the ParserFunction-bug (Guild_Wars_Wiki:Reporting wiki bugs#Parser Functions), I still ain't able to test it. But thank you for showing me how to do this! -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 04:55, 19 March 2007 (EDT)

Oh, it's np, glad I could help :) I hope that problem can get fixed soon, it's really annyoing. — Anja 07:39, 19 March 2007 (EDT)

Guild tag

LOL - I had just updated the {{proposed policy}} template to work with the note parameter I had added (I hadn't lost my mind by adding it that way - it was a work in process), but I see you split it out into its own tag. Oh well, works just as well either way. :-) --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 12:01, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Yeah, I "patrol" recent changes still and saw your edit and thought "why, it's not visible" and edited it. Then I saw you edit the template and I just felt too stupid to mention it. I don't mind which way it is, do as you want to ;) And I have to learn to hesitate and not rush so much. :P - Anja Astor 13:29, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Nevermind, had too much time and did the rest, ill do Primeval Armor tomorrow, cant be bothered to last misson at the mo --Gummy Joe 16:34, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
Nice, thank you :) - Anja Astor 16:53, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Thanks for fixing the primeval page couldnt fix the table after I made the page EdgeBomber 19:51, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Ah np. I like to fix stuff ;) - Anja Astor 20:06, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Armor pages finished!

Congratulations! Now take a break and let the RSI in your wrists heal up a bit :D --SnogratTrigsig.png 09:45, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Haha, thanks. No problems yet, but I think they will come quite soon ;P - Anja Astor Anja Astor (talk) 09:46, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
Congratulations! Now to the fact checking mobile! *puts on cape* - BeX 10:22, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Signature

Hey Anja. Please don't use the Dwayna's Kiss icon (or any other skill icon) as user icon. GWW:SIGN states, that user icons must be unique to a user name and we want to treat users as equally as possible. ~ dragon legacy 09:49, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

I think you must have misunderstood that point of GWW:SIGN. It is actually connected with the next one:
  • The image file must be unique to the user signature. The image file should not be larger than 19 pixels wide and 19 pixels tall.
  • The image file must redirect to the users user page or talk page.
Notice that it's talking about a file, not about what the image looks like. If two people decide to have a red square as their signature, that's fine, no one can stop them. The point is that the file should be unique, so that it redirects directly to the user's page. --Dirigible 09:54, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
(Edit conflict) It actually says The image file must be unique to the user signature, and it is. The image is a new separate file uploaded by me, not the Dwaynas kiss icon used in the skill pages. I don't think I should be treated in any special way, I'm not a special user. :P But I still think I follow the policy since the file is unique, though what's in the image is not. The policy says nothing about what's in the image (in a reasonable way, of course no offensive content). :) - Anja Astor Anja Astor (talk) 09:56, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Armor components

Just to let you know that most of the armor page that you've created in the component section has two fronts for the shirt, and then two backs for the pants view, thus showing two of the same pictures. ;) I edited some that I've put in, but not the others.--Zemmy 20:46, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

That's not me, that's Emily (cause nothing shows on my watchlist). But hey, thanks for fixing it anyway :) - Anja Anja Astor (talk) 03:03, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
Oh gosh, I have done them all wrong >< - Anja Anja Astor (talk) 08:28, 22 April 2007 (EDT)

Helms

You had a question about helms? I've been online for a while but you've been offline, you can catch me on MSN later. Otherwise leave the question on my talk page because I have to go cook dinner now. - BeX 03:46, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
