Hey plz dont place that older image again. Screenies with weapons or (ofc) NOT better than those without. Any npc sharing this model must have this render displayed, henchmen with unqye staff or not. Most console RPGs do have long intros, Chrono Trigger and the second Star Ocean come to mind as two of the longest. But with FF games, some are hit and miss, and sometimes new battle systems just don't cut it. I loved the original FF, 3, 7, 9, 10, but I just couldn't get into 8 or 12 like the other ones. About the skill Earthen Shackles, it caused me and my friend Zhurye allot of confusion, we traveled to get it, thinking it would make the person move slow while burning as well, but turned out it just did slow, that's what I made the note about for any others like me.
