- You play this game, Jette? :P -- Oiseau | 22:21, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yes and no. Yes because it can even out the playing field for the people that don't sync. No because it may make it impossible to get any points if you continuously join fail teams and that happens enough without the extra shuffle.--The Emmisary 22:23, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- But by shuffling after every match, you're also decreasing the odds that you'll play against a stacked team (since those teams won't exist for 25 matches like they do now). So even if you're increasing the odds that you'll have a random crappy team, you're also increasing the odds that everyone else will have a random crappy team. — Raine Valen 22:41, 30 Jul 2010 (UTC)
- That also lowers if not kills the incentive to go after the title in the first place. The idea doesn't help new comers as much as it just attacks the syncers--The Emmisary 22:46, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- What's the incentive to go after the title now, in your opinion? — Raine Valen 22:59, 30 Jul 2010 (UTC)
- There's not much. It's better than poking your eyeballs out, or eating drywall, I guess. -- Tha Reckoning 23:30, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- There is no incentive for me since I feel the entire design of RA is flawed. However, I can think of no solutions therefore I leave it alone. It is probably the most broken arena out of the three left. HA is a close second.--The Emmisary 23:40, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- ...how's it hurting the incentive if there isn't one? — Raine Valen 23:52, 30 Jul 2010 (UTC)
- 1-10. Numbers can go below zero, I heard. 75.159.83.232 01:32, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I merely stated there is no incentive for me. Some other people with the time and patience still try for the title...--The Emmisary 01:42, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, I see, the incentive for the title. I'm not sure how I missed that.
- I was suggesting a way to make RA suck less, not to make the title easier. — Raine Valen 3:13, 31 Jul 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Not really, let's say you get a decent team on your first match and then you get a terrible team on your second, you fail and cannot get 25 wins. InfestedHydralisk 13:50, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Is the goal of RA to get a good team then roll everyone else and farm glads, or to have fun? — Raine Valen 19:17, 31 Jul 2010 (UTC)
- Well if gaining glad points isn't the aim of RA then why does the title even exist? Tidas 19:26, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm happy when I have decent teams and win. InfestedHydralisk 19:32, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Here is some logic: before the gladiator title track was included in the game, people played RA. For fun. When the title got in and suddenly a reward could be gained from RA, people started playing only the lamest builds, synching started to occur, and Anet had to include the awful dishonor system to prevent people from consecutively leaving until they had the perfect team. So, making the title more or less irrelevant, or even removing it from the game may be a good idea. Koda Kumi 19:48, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Remove the title, problem solved, woooooo! You could also just make it a point per win. Misery 07:36, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- Removing titles from everything would solve a lot of the game's problems, actually. And the amount of butthurt mad on the wiki would also be cool to see. –Jette 07:46, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello, my very helpful Ms. Valen[edit]
I'm curious what you think of the upcoming Dervish/Para/Smiter update, assuming of course that they follow the precedent of the Mesmer update (e.g. over-buffing to cater towards passive class styling) since ANet doesn't learn from their mistakes. Because lolSmiter'sBoon, right? -- Oiseau | 05:41, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

- Oh. Oiseau, your pre-cognition is leagues better than mine, how do you know about upcoming updates? -- Tha Reckoning 06:15, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- "A few other balance issues are being worked on in parallel and will be included in the same build if they are testing well enough. These will NOT include major changes to the Dervish (and in particular scythes), non-“Imbagon” Paragons, and the smiting line for the Monk. All of those are things we’ve been considering for major updates of their own. None are far enough along to be a part of this update." Taken from the April 23 preliminary skill update notes. I'm inviting conjecture, based on the impact made by the last update. :0 -- Oiseau | 14:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

I've changed my mind :o[edit]
Considering that the game is deteriorating at an alarming rate due to the direction the developers are obviously taking with these updates, I've reconsidered your offer.
