I hate quiters[edit]

If you are not going for finish something don't start it. Its unfair to rest of the group to bail on them. I've spent hours trying to kill Forgeweight in HM. Everytime we unlock the door and go through half the team bails because its hard. Ramei Arashi 00:13, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

What are you trying to say? Ramei Arashi
Just pointing out that you reverted Silver Edge's revert on you back again. User ***EAGLEMUT*** Signature.png ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 15:16, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Also I thought the standard was to use {{gw2w}} template.- TheRave talk (talk) 15:17, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Not on Guild Wars 2 wiki, uses trivia method on skills and the other on other articles. Ramei Arashi 15:26, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Whirlwind Romance[edit]

Was that name inspired by Herman Brood, by chance? Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 18:36, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

No. I don't know who that is. Ramei Arashi 18:49, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Nice catch[edit]

Nice catch in Languages of Tyria, which implied (before your edit) that Asurans weren't equally fictional. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:39, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Leave my ele alone![edit]

moved from Feedback_talk:John_Stumme#Leave my ele alone!

I just read interview on ele update.. And I'm afraid for my ele (first character). Don't nerf Invoke Ligntning!!! You guys always ruin skills for PVE because you think PVP is unbalanced. Stop tinkering with things that are not broken!!! If you have to mess with skills make separate PVP skills. You already ruined Ray of Judgement and Searing Flames. Now you want to do it to my favorite air spell. STOP IT! Ramei Arashi 22:09, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

just because one skill is getting nerffed that dosn't mean that other skills are not getting buffed. hopefully this update makes ele fun to play.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 23:41, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
WTH I posted on John Stumme's page because he's the one who needs to see this. Its useless on my page. Anyway, its not not just one skill thats getting nerfed. My whole build is being ruined. Ramei Arashi 16:10, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Your post was removed because such nonsense is not required on the dev talk pages - who visit the wiki little enough as it is. I have no sympathy for you if you cannot see past your own nose to realize the following:
  1. None of the changes are final
  2. The invoke nerf is minor
  3. You can improve your ele's build using other skills buffed with those notes
  4. There are other, non-damaging roles your ele can better fulfil
In future, if you want to provide feedback on various changes, you can do so here.

It was a valid complaint on the appropriate place. I should not have to change my build because once again they ruin skills for PVE because they don't like how they're used in PVP. Most people aren't even playing PVP. Ramei Arashi 15:47, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
The issue isn't the legitimacy of the complaint: the post asked developers to do (or more specifically, not do) something, which makes it a suggestion, which means it belongs in your personal feedback space. ANet claims (and this is supported by evidence) that they read the suggestions in the Feedback space, so folks are jumping the queue if they post directly on the dev's page. Everyone else seems to have had no problem discussing the possible changes at the talk page created to do so.
For what it's worth, it seems to me that you've assumed facts not-in-evidence to support your claim: the devs split PvP functionality frequently (far too often in my opinion) to avoid nerfing PvE functionality. When they don't split a skill, it's because they've decided that the balance in PvE can also be improved.
According to the unpublished notes supporting the proposal, "Exhaustion was intended as a metering mechanic, but ...this weakness almost never showed up. With a guaranteed Exhaustion amount of 5, this skill should be much more balanced for teams in PvP. " That reads to me as if ANet believes the skill to be inherently imbalanced for both PvE and PvP. (In fact, arguably, it's more OP'd in PvE, b/c there are acres and acres of locations where there's no danger of exhaustion from it.) – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:10, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't waste your breath until Ramei posts something that implies he's reading as well as writing. Just my two cents. 24.130.140.36 17:00, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
There's plenty of evidence that Ramei reads. Plus: it's always worth taking the time to explain why a post is moved and help people find the right places to submit feedback. Although I strongly disagree with the assumptions and conclusions of the OP, I do sympathize with those who get attached to a particular build/character/skill and are alarmed when ANet does starts tweaking. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:11, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Characters[edit]

Just wondering...Do you have all your past characters listed or do you seriously have that many character slots? Considering the amount of work put into all of them, regardless of which one, that's so impressive. o_O Nice work... Nykki 22:03, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

I have that many Ramei Arashi (talk) 22:23, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

I miss April Fools Day gags[edit]

I miss logging in on April 1st to find I've been turned into a Gwen Doll or shrunk down to mini pet size. Ramei Arashi (talk)
