Move/edit > delete

Hey again :)

If you see something like "IrishSpellSlasher Characters", move it to that person's userspace but try to keep the name as similar as possible, such as to User:IrishSpellSlasher/Characters. Making it a subpage (i.e. User:Shadowphoenix/Subpage name here) usually is best. That's better than just tagging it for A1 ;) -- Brains12 \ Talk 19:03, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

delete tag

Hi shadowphoenix, I just wanted to let you know that I removed the speedy delete tag from Image:Guild Wait A Minute We Have Some Lag cape.jpg for corrupt or unviewable image. In particular it looks like they are still trying to fix the image and it is more a problem with the cache on the wiki taking a little while to update sometimes and displaying the incorrect image at the wrong resolution rather than a problem with the image itself. It is also bad faith to tag an image like that while the original contributor is still in the middle of trying to fix the image. --Lemming 17:51, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Theres a lot of things that I would just loooove to say to you about this, most of which would probably piss you off or make you cry. But lettme just say this. I don’t know how old you are but everywhere that you go you will meet people that disagree with you. It’s a fact of life. Hell, scroll back through some of my changes in November. Ive been in huge arguments with Eloc, CA, Raptar, a few admins, and probably ½ a dozen other users. Only time I left for any period of time was when Raptar was harassing me, which was the same time period the Gem left as well. (but that isn’t happening to you). Point is, if you really want to avoid stuff like that, you basically got 2 options. A. Accumulate a vast amount of money and pay everyone around you to say “Yes Mistress” to everything you say, or B. Go live in a cave. Since I'm assuming neither of those are an option for you, then your really just going to have to tough it out. Step back for awhile, and say to yourself “its really not worth getting angry at these stupid “insert favorite obscenity here” because while I will go on to have a successful life (or already have one) they will probably rot in their mothers basement getting high on crystallized mountain dew as they pee in a diaper so they don’t have to leave their precious computer.” (No NPA violation, I didn’t name names).

Couldn't find the original topic relating to you using your character templates to create Wandering Travelers template. It looks good although I noticed it does have a very very similar design to Lensors character template amongst others. Just thought I'd mention it since she should also receive credit on Wandering Travelers page; as well as Sum Mesmer Guy; for the original design. --Kakarot 19:44, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

As for a GFDL wiki you only have to act in GFDL terms, that means you only have to give the source or original authors of that page. The easiest way for this is adding a link to the edit summary. But some people add a voluntary section to their page where they give credits for the specific section or just say thanks. It's up to you what you want to do. poke | talk 20:06, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Archive box collapsible

I saw that you implemented that template and I don't get why somebody should use it.. You can simply use the following code to get the same without using a template; and you won't have the problem with lots of information from wikipedia which we simply do not have (for example the different css styles do not exist here). Another thing is that voidd template. What is the use for that? Your archive box template uses that template with non-existant pages as parameters; I looked at the wikipedia page and it was exactly the same: The included pages are not existant. So why even add those templates? It's a lot shorter and more customizable when you simply use the follwing code:
