The problem

For me the problem is not anything about the skills, or updates, or anything else, it's about the size of Linsey's page, and the repeated necessity to lock it. I simply want people to utilize the system that we put months and months of effort into to make it usable and extremely organized for both the community AND the developer teams to use. The more of the discussion that can be done there (with virtually unlimited length) rather than on Linsey's already mammoth page, will not only make it easier for the Developers to see how the community feels regarding not only game updates, but also specific issues without having to read many fragments in different places. As long as Linsey is telling me (and the rest of the community) that they are in fact reading what is posted there and taking it into account while working on updates/changes, I'm going to choose to believe her, and I will continue to push people to use it. While you are totally entitled to your opinion, I will continue to "jump" on people that talk negatively about the effectiveness of the Feedback space when there is no proof that that is actually the case, and there is proof (by way of Linsey's repeated comments) that it is in fact giving the teams valuable information. I realize that old habits die hard, but it doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying to change them. As for people placing their suggestions directly on Linsey's page? As of yet, there have been few instances, and most have voluntarily created suggestions pages when asked, with the exception of Wuhy. I know, and the reason I came here, was because I wanted you to understand that I am not pointing anything personally at you, simply that I am and will continue to push the feedback namespace in people's faces. I do understand that with no commentary from the devs there, it's sometimes hard to believe they are using it. It's not exactly what a lot of us had hoped for when we created it, but, I do see their point that commenting takes a lot more time than simply reading. It just is that much harder to convince people to use it when every single time it's brought up, there is someone crying about how "ineffective" it is, or that "no one cares about it". Stepping back

Hi. I'm going to continue this here, because it has nothing to do with visions of regret.

First off, please don't think that this is a hostile post. It really isn't. This is as friendly and as cordial as it gets (at least from me, if you want more warmth, carebears are this way. You seem like the kind of guy I'd get along with, and I really don't want to create a hostile atmosphere for no good reason. Let's put the trolling (admittedly, most of it is my trolling) behind us for a moment here.

Second, I'd rather you didn't make assumptions about me. I do watch from a distance, and I do read (quite a bit I might add, since reading the crap on the balance pages is fun(and just to be clear, I don't think your posts would be included in that group)). Now, it offends me to great degree when people act like idiots, ignore logical statements, etc etc because they have no excuse for being bad. That's why this guy pisses me off, and I think we share this reasoning.

Let's work together. I don't know what you aim to do with the feedback namespace, though I can guess from the manner of your suggestions and posts that you seek to improve the game. That's a noble intention, one I previously had until it became obvious to me that nobody (who mattered) gave a crap about game balance. Me, I'm there to epeen. Honestly, I don't think there is any reason why we can't coexist without breaking each other's noses (or epeens).

Going back to the OP, I don't think you get defensive with every post, and I'm sorry if my statement came out that way. But when you bite the ass of the guy who came in to support you, well... Excuse me if I interpret that as a "little defensive". Personally, I couldn't care less, because defensive behavior like that let's me troll and makes my life a bit more meaningful. But it doesn't help you make your case against, say, I don't know, VoR?
