Welcome Templates[edit]

There was a discussion quite a while back about whether people should be using welcome templates (and similar templates for talk pages) such as your User:The Cabal/Welcome page, the consensus was reached that welcome templates shouldn't be used, and if you want to welcome people, the personal touch is much better. While there is no official policy or guidelines on using them, it is frowned upon. I'm not sure on the exact details, but Wyn knows the score, give her a shout.- TheRave talk (talk) 16:47, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

OK, sorry about that! I was just thinking that no one really welcomes anyone around here and that something was better than nothing. Back to the old ways then! :) The Cabal Snow!! 19:14, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

May I have some help?[edit]

I want to make a personal GW2 suggestions page, one that's linked to my user page. Could you help me figure out how to do that? Or suggest some one who can? Thank you for your time.--Will Greyhawk 16:42, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Sure! I've created the page and everything for you. It is in your userspace, here. All you need to do now is add you page to this page and write what your suggestions are about. Have fun! The Cabal Snow!! 12:15, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the help, been wanting to do this for a while now. It might take a while for this to be finish, feel free to check out what I have written and let me know what you think.--Will Greyhawk 18:09, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey there The Cabal,[edit]

One question what does &bsnp tag do actually?

Reason why i deleted those tags, maybe its a html/css/xhtml thing i don't know, but from my computer, without it looks better, and without it still works the same as with only better, with the tag, the indentation is all wrong. see the link please, if you would.

here's a link: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ArenaNet:Guild_Wars_2_suggestions/Hero/Companion_gear_should_be_account_based

under why it may not work, i though i put the tag back, but it comes out as it was before, wrong indentation. the "wrap lines" that goes after the first line with bullet point should align with the first line not justting out.

I am not trying to not do the correct thing and argue on everything users pointed out, it needs to have a purpose to be there. I hope you understand. If theres a reason why it should be there at all I will from now on ignore the oh so yucky indentation.

Thanks, Pumpkin pie User Pumpkin pie sig.jpg 02:25, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

The &nbsp tag is supposed to put in an uninterrupted space, sorta like indenting it out farther. I myself do not know why it is there, it was just agreed upon to put it in there. You would have to ask Aspectacle to get the real reason why they are in there since he made most of the preload pages. But since it is in the basic formatting, all I'm asking is for you to ignore them since that is how it was originally formatted.
Sorry for any confusion. The Cabal Snow!! 12:25, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
