Lieutenant Langmar

"We have just received word from the residents of Ashford that Farmer Hamnet has gone missing. He was last seen heading up to Wizard's Folly to gather supplies, but was due back hours ago. His neighbors are starting to get nervous, so we have agreed to send a search party. Are you interested in leading the search? This seems like a perfect way for you to get some more experience under your belt!"

 Accept: "I will find your lost farmer."

 Decline: "It's kind of chilly up there. I think I'll stick around here, where it's nice and warm."

Intermediate dialogue

Farmer Hamnet

"Thank the gods you found me! Now, please, take me out of this place before I freeze or get eaten!"

"Thank you, friend. I think I'm going to need a hot batch of Mary's famous tea to warm up a bit!"

Reward dialogue

"Well done, recruit! I'm sure Hamnet is happy to be back indoors next to a warm fire."

Notes

• Farmer Hamnet can be escorted back to any of the five portals in Wizard's Folly to complete the quest, even though places such as The Catacombs or Regent Valley are not really safer.
• Be sure to wait for the quest to update before mapping out or zoning. Should Farmer Hamnet stop moving before he gets close enough, take a few steps in the direction of the portal until the quest updates.
• While active, two vanguard bandits spawn very close to Foible's Fair, making it useful as an experience farm. Plus the Academy Monk will be healing near the Shrine.
